I’m being an optimist here and hoping this is a GTF 2.0 style signing.

I’m after one as well. I live in Hammersmith & Fulham so would be delighted to get my hand on one if there’s one going -
If we’re starting Justin and BDCR for their defensive attributes, then why did we also decide to start Vardy simultaneously? 🤔
-
Why do I have this funny feeling we’ll perform much better than anyone of us will expect? Remember Hull City back in 2016 on the opening day? It’s got shades of that, hasn’t it?

In before the Hložek

That’ll sweeten the deal

Your meal won’t be the only thing that’ll get grilled that day… -
And if one midfielder should accidentally fall…

I think having Zaha in will be amazing for Mavididi and Fatawu. The experience, attitude, skill and swagger they’ll gain from working with Wilf for a season will be very valuable. So at least when Wilf leaves, we will gain two Wilfs in the process.

If we’re going by that theory, then the same can’t be said about Ben Nelson… -
This whole thread is the equivalent of a 4-3 defeat with two red cards to each side.

As someone that traded the former for the latter years ago, I lol’d hard at that

Feels like Ademola Lookman all over again. Lost his way a little but the minerals are there - just needs a new home.

And any Danny Ward related thread isn’t?

Danny Ward redemption arc inbound, I can feel it

The thing is, when players leave the club, you think about the skillsets that will be gone that no one in the squad can currently replicate and try to fill that gap again in the transfer window. Now I know Iheanacho’s time at the club eventually fizzled out into nothing, but he was very good at times with holding the ball up and playing other attackers into space - and during THAT half season, was a great asset when a second striker was on the pitch. On the face of it, Kelechi and Wout don’t appear to be similar players but when you break them down and compare the two’s games, it becomes apparent why we’re looking at this guy. I’m all on board with this. Also added to the fact that we’re on the verge of signing a third winger this window - so it’s apparent what the game plan is going to be, or at least majorly.
-
I’d rather get in Skipp than use Braybrooke - we need experience and can’t rely on raw talent. We simply cannot afford to do that this season. Have them both in the team, sure, but not just the latter.

I had no idea this was on today
