It’s always the tea lady. They love to stir things up.

We shouldn’t see our opponents as Man City. We should see them as a team that’s sitting in 18th on the form table. I sense it’ll be 1-1 but I’m hoping for a 2-1 win.

Knowing us we’ll get a result, convincingly pound Man City, then return to normal and lose to Villa and QPR

I think everyone has forgotten about that little spell Ward went on in late 2022 right before the World Cup kicked off. Pretty sure at one point around then, he had the record for most clean sheets in the league after 11 games. He has it in his locker somewhere, and I’d like to think under RVN that there’s a great chance that we could see that very soon.

We’d be mads not to start him on Sunday if he’s okay

Genuinely disagree. There’s an opportunity to take points there!

A Newcastle fan said something similar on here this time last week…

I’m much more nervous about this game than the Liverpool and Man City matches coming up afterwards. It just feels like there is so much at stake here.

Could we sell him on and use that money to fund a Ferguson transfer?

It's called Fergie Time; something our new manager knows a thing or two about -
The club should incentivise/reward fans for staying behind every game using a loyalty point scheme. Something like that could work if there was a way to successfully enforce it.

Go full Dean Smith and grind out a 0-0 by playing anti-football.

A lot of golf clapping happening in the Craven Cottage stands and I can’t say I’m that surprised.

If Richard Osman wore a roll neck…

I genuinely thought that was a photoshopped image. Wtf.

He’s not available for Sunday

I’m really excited to see what RVN does to Daka more than any other player tbh. With his expertise in the attacking field, I expect him to do a lot of 1-2-1 training with Daka and get the most out of him. As one or two posters have said, Patson is really lucky to find himself playing for one of the best attacking players the world has seen in his prime.

For me, it’s his off the ball movement that needs work on which will take him to the next level. One thing he has been consistently good at for the past month now is his passing, and his range of passing today was more vast since the start of his redemption period a few games ago.
