  1. Exactly, well embarassing...
  2. I would be mindful and respectful to Top who lost his father in an air accident at the KP... Top and the board are only human at the end of the day... I'm sure he knows things aren't great but his hands are tied with the new psr rules. These are complex rules and were probably designed to stop clubs like us from having the recent success we've enjoyed...
  3. We just need a new manager... Baffles me how many fans are interested in playing style than survival....Cooper had us above the relegation zone, creating chances and fighting in games - way too early to sack him and we are giving Ruud all the time in the world. Keeping the faith with Ruud in the championship would be too big a risk. He is working a club legend down to the bone by playing him for 90 mins, and persisting with these lazy midfielders that we have playing for us... The fitness levels are no where near the 15/16 side. Too much rondo at the seagrave golf and leisure resort. The decision making and team selection capacity just isn't there. The goal drought record is crazy... Cannot see any way back now. Wolves would need to throw it away and we would need a miracle.
  4. At least we were scoring goals and creating chances under Cooper, and we were outside of the relegation zone. We have deteriorated significantly under RVN. Need to change the manager now to give the next manager any chance of picking up points over the last 5 games of the season.
  5. He is still the main man in my view. I would have rested him on the weekend - we needed him fresh for tonight, and also for Saturday vs Fulham.
  6. From what I've seen, this current group at LCFC seem more interested in build-up play than getting results. The first team is the first team - it isn't the development squad. We are in a relegation scrap where performances and style of play will ultimately count for very little. Its as though we are aiming for perfection in terms of style rather than points. This is where I actually think Cooper was hard done by as he at least had us above the relegation zone. We seem to need prolonged spells of possession to carve open a chance - this is all well and good at nil - nil, easy to play with a swagger and feel as though we are on top at nil - nil (i.e. the first half tonight), but as soon as we concede it feels like a mountain to climb, because there is simply no urgency to get the ball into the final third and get the team at the right end of the pitch. We end up looking complacent, careless and nonchalant, lacking the killer instinct, or any kind of winning mentality. We look way off the mark at the moment and the manager needs to share some of the responsibility. Why play Danny Ward against Wolves for example - the whole of the King Power knew it was a bad decision as soon as the team sheet came out.
  7. I'm just playing devils advocate but why is everyone blaming Rudkin every time we go through a rough patch. Does anyone actually know the guy or the financial constraints he is working within. He was DoF whem we won the league and the fa cup, appointed Enzo and has directed us back to the prem. Seems like some fans just make him the scapegoat.
  8. If you walk round to a certain side entrance at the back of the kop, I think one of the staff can let you in - been let in when late before after half time...
  9. A big inconvenience...will no doubt be bigger queues as a result with more fans getting in late and a depletion in the match day exeprience. Was really bad with the queues earlier this season and this will just make it worse. What happens if my phone happens to run out of charge? Basically buggered without a card...
  10. Seems to me as though if we concede or go a goal down then we struggle to reply and react - we stick to our ways. We have had lots of opportunities to really kill games off at home and win by 4, 5, 6 but seem happy to play about with the ball in defence and soak up pressure. We could have really gone for it in certain games and looked to get the wingers on the ball, get Cannon involved, and on the score sheet, but instead seem happy to let Hermansen, Faes and Westergard have the ball. It would be good to see a plan B where we show that desperation to score, or at least need the team to really make the most of every opportunity and bang the goals in. In the prem, you need to be able to react instantly and need to take your chances.
  11. Like I said, the atmosphere has deteriorated at the KP since the club moved towards the new modern way of passing i.e.. Puel then Brendan etc. The controlled style of the modern game doesn't spark an atmosphere as easily...it's pretty obvious to see for anyone who has been going down a few years...
  12. Yeah and both of those top 5 finishes were during the pandemic, stadiums were empty...
  13. Think Rodgers bottling top 4 was during Covid if not mistaken.
  14. Our fans are good on our day - if think back to when we won promotion, the great escape, prem league and played in Europe. Fans have been on a rollercoaster with the club over the last 15 years or so. The style at the moment isn't conducive to getting the fans going and has slowly deteriorated since the Puel days. Most leicester fans gravitate to players who bring excitement (like Vardy for example). This period is actually making me appreciate the title winning team even more - not only did we win it, but we won it with one of the most exciting styles of football, which ignited the crowd. The current style is pre-planned, methodical, predictable and is bringing in positive results - but ignites no passion in the fans. Who traditionally enjoys watching the centre back stand on the ball for what can feel like an age.
  15. Very grateful that we are top of the championship at this stage, but not the most enjoyable or entertaining to watch. Starting to get concerned about how we'll manage with this style of football and these players in the prem. Conceded again at the end when there was really no need. We could really go for it, entertain the fans, create an atmosphere and score 5 or 6 during games but instead seem content passing it across defence, turning games into a chess match.
  16. Simply the best from a technical perspective, a truly unique player with his own style. The goal vs Chelsea at home and even the assist for Ulloa at home vs Stoke where he megs the defender - have never seen such brilliance during live games - what an atmosphere and style of football we had back then. Electric and the most entertaining city side I've seen. The possession stats were low but every time we got the ball the crowd would go mad!!
  17. People are too harsh on Amartey....the night of the tragedy he basically broke his leg in a shocker of an injury...fair play to him for coming back and I wish him all the very best.
  18. Will we have 32k back at the king power from the first home game of this season onwards, or reckon we'll need to apply via ballot or rotate games etc as supporters / season ticket holders? Will we need jabs to get in?
  19. Gotta have the birch in there surely and Alan Young
  20. Really miss going down to games and match days in general at the moment. A big void. When do you realistically think we will get to attend games like before? 2022/23 season?
  21. Technically more superior than Chilwell....a proper baller
  22. There was a 1-5 defeat to villa I remember at home when the fan entered the pitch 0-5 to bolton under Taylor Think we lost to Derby maybe 1-3 at filbert st as well under Taylor
  23. Looking for 2 adult tickets if anyone has any spare? Cheers, blue army!!
  24. One that sticks in my mind is Villa away in the 90s. 4-1 down and clawed it back to 4-4. 3 goals in the 13 minutes!!!
