Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official
DesertFox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Brighton are, quite rightly, going to do what they did with Ben White. They won't sell him this coming summer, they'll give him a season in their first team then sell to the big six for 70m+. -
Arsenal vs Leicester City Tactical Analysis
DesertFox replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
Great stuff Anil, thank you 😎 -
What will today's excuses be? One point for each key word. I'm going for... Rain Hail Thunder Lightning Pitch Ref Assistants/4th official Opposition Too much injury time Not enough injury time Dyche Points deduction No points deduction Premier League Ricardo That should bag me five or six points, which is more than City will have by Christmas at this rate.

Thanks Anil, really appreciate the analysis -
* Plus he took a year out of the Prem and hammered in 18 in Championship as well. ****in legend!

What are your expectations for next season?
DesertFox replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can't see how we can stay up. Nailed on for 20th. -
This shouldn't be too difficult to figure out, surely? He's currently at home in Ghana because he had international duty, so has more time off than those who are already back in preseason. He'll be back next week. It doesn't make any sense to fly him back to Leicester during his holiday, just for a photo shoot.
-
Chair, he'll eye us...
-
Correct!

Can anyone remember this guy? My first full season with a kid's season ticket was 84/85, and my favourite player was the right back. He used to wear a bandage on his arm, not because he was injured but to cover up an embarrassing tattoo. I just read that he received a 22-month jail sentence in 2009 for GBH! Without Googling... can you name him?

Are you happy with Steve Cooper being appointed (as looks likely)?
DesertFox replied to Tuna's topic in Leicester City Forum
Meh. -
He does know he's Welsh, right?
-
Bit of a headless chicken, IMO.
-
That could be him "doing the right thing" for Weds as he'll definitely get better offers this summer.
-
I'm surprised that Danny Rohl and Marti Cifuentes haven't had more mentions, both doing amazing jobs at keeping teams up in the Championship last season. We're going to need that skill next season for sure.
-
Wasn't it rumored we spent over a million on him? Total waste of money. We're really shit at this.

Leicester City Mishmash - The History of LCFC in One Image
DesertFox replied to Mark's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can I just say, this is ****ing brilliant! I've enjoyed following along and reading everyone's input, and I'm going to order one right now! I'm not even going to pass it by the missus, she'll just have to deal with it -
My first live game in years, so I'm comparing it with mostly 80s and 90s. It wasn't as bad as I feared, to be honest. Well done to all that tried. I've lost my voice! Two notes, though, on the general change in football fans in that time. 1. The couple next to me were snacking on sushi and dried fruit. 2. The whole row in front of me, maybe eight people, arrived ten minutes late, left five minutes before half time, and never came back. Weird!

Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Post Match Thread
DesertFox replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Well, I ****ing loved it! My first live game in years, and my main wish was granted - I got to see Jamie Vardy score a goal! Moments later, I think I got a bit of rain in my eyes, or something... 😃ðŸ˜- 179 replies

I'll stay until the very last player heads down the tunnel 😎

Thanks to general sale, I was able to get two tickets! My first live game was as a 7-year-old in 1980, and I had a season ticket through the 90s, but I moved to the US in 2001, and have only managed three games at the KP since. This will be the first game I've been to in person since Craig Shakespeare's last game as manager! I'm SO excited! 😃

Plus the fact that "Championship history" means "since we've been keeping these sorts of records" which is probably about five seasons. Still impressive, though!
