What % of wages do teams pay when cricketers are on loan?
Trimming the squad and relying on the loan market may be quite a shrewd money saving measure by the club.
Had a good 30 minute spell v Ukraine and everyone thought they were the bees knees.
i know they haven’t always got the results but I think the Netherlands have looked impressive all tournament. Just need to be able to put the ball in the net more
There’s a bit of an internet conspiracy going around that this tournament is full of players who are just absolutely knackered (which seems to makes sense) and that’ll suit Spain as their players for several reasons are fresher. So it may just be a survival of the fittest in terms of who wins.
Yes although only in his academy days (not since DOF). He’s a shy/timid/introverted guy, generally was always pleasent to speak to. Has a lovely family. I can’t imagine him being particularly assertive but he must be useful for the board.
Yeah you’re right with the age thing. I think I just associate them with youth given how well they have historically done at fifa youth comps.
Prediction is looking good so far though.
If Belgium can get a good win v Ukraine tonight, they’ll come onto our side of the draw and will probably fancy their chances. They’ve not been that bad and should’ve beaten Slovakia and Romania by loads even though they lost the first one.
Similar to England really. They weren’t that impressive in the last World Cup but nearly won it so I’d still expect them to go deep once the knockouts start
It’s not rigged but there surely must be limits that other teams can tolerate in terms of provisions made for India in each competition? Even the deliberate India v Pakistan draws mean it’s not an open and fair competition.
