  1. You and Southampton both had bad starts but they have now found consistency and are in great form. You men are still inconsistent. Lost to Sunderland, WBA and Preston drew with Cov and very nearly dropped another 2 today against a poor Preston side. Like I said, I've not been overly impressed with you men considering the quality of players you have and I think that's down to Farke not being the best choice buts that's just my opinion and Leeds fans obviously know alot more of the ins and outs of the club than me. I'm just an outsider looking in.
  2. I don't just mean scoring goals, I mean actually watching them play. I've obviously watched all of our games and a fair few Southampton ones, and you can often see a gulf in class between them and rest. I haven't watched every Leeds game but when i have, they haven't looked all that special. Basically what I'm trying to say is, with the players you guys have and how incredibly dire this league is, I'd have expected a little more but you guys just seem pretty inconsistent. Out of interest, what's the feeling amongst Leeds fans about Farke?
  3. Hermansen, Ricardo, Faes, Vestergaard, Justin, Winks, Yunus, KDH, Mcateer, Mavididi, Cannon. Providing KDH is fit, which I reckon he will be, this is probably the strongest side, or put Praet in for Yunus. Either way, other than Vardy, we won't have much in the way of attacking options on the bench.
  4. On paper, Leeds have a very good side. The reason I don't think they'll get top 2 is because I don't rate Farke. I watch Southampton and us, and when on song its a joy to watch and teams can get steam rollered. Rarely do I watch Leeds and think they play amazing football. Given the players they have at their disposal, especially in attacking areas, they should be blitzing teams at this level, but they rarely do. They've had a few big wins but many times I've watched them this season and they've not impressed me.
  5. KDH was on football focus and there was no indication that he wouldn't be playing against Ipswich. He'll be desperate to play, so unless there is a serious risk with him (not a muscle injury so unlikely), I think he'll play. Casadeis recall may force us to play him. Mcateer will be needed on the wing to replace Fatawu so that leaves us with Yunus, Praet (if fit), Hamza and maybe moving Ricardo forward, but I can't see Enzo moving Ricardo forward as he likes him in the inverted full back role
  6. Yes they are a disgrace. If any team needs a points a deduction for ffp failings, it's should be these. They've well and truly took the piss out of the transfer market since Boehly has been there
  7. How strange. He's nowhere near ready for premier league football. Unless he goes full Harry Kane and ends up being a world beater for his parent club.
  8. I doubt they've recalled him to play for them, more likely another loan where he'll play more or they are looking at raising some cash by selling him
  9. Does this free up a loan space in our squad now? Maybe we are looking at bringing in another loan player. We arguably need 2 8's now, and we are unlikely to have the finances to sign 2 players permanent, so sensi permanent and another loan would make sense.
  10. Can just see it now that after the Swansea game, they'll claim there wasn't many people that bought general sale tickets so they won't be doing it again.
  11. With what's going on with Forest and Everton, it can't come as a surprise to anyone, including Enzo, that we can't buy until we sell. Rudkin may well have not communicated properly with Enzo, which is poor if true, but he can't magically find money to spend that we don't have/can't spend due yo ffp. We are still feeling the affects of poor recruitment under Rodgers and Congerton but hopefully our wage bill and finances will look a little better come the summer. If we get to next summer and are in a similar situation where we can't spend, then we are fcked and I think the little confidence the fans have in the powers that be, will be completely diminished. The last thing we want is Enzo not being backed and he ends up walking out.
  12. Yes it does seem that Rudkin is made a scapegoat. Whilst he's not blameless as he is the one who sanctions the transfers/contracts, the shit we can't shift was all signed under Rodgers and his best mate Congerton. Lessons need to be learnt in our future transfer business but i don't think its as easy as to say Rudkin is useless at getting rid of players. Of course we could try and get rid of them for next to nothing, but some of them may still have outstanding payments, so we'd need to ensure that we cover that cost at a minimum. As for Danny Ward, we'd have more chance of digging up Frank Worthington and selling him than getting any money for Ward.
  13. I think the main difference being that Taylor was a decent guy and tried his best but was just woefully out of his depth. Rodgers isn't and never has been a decent guy, and is all about himself. I'm still convinced that it was sabotage on his part last season, as he didn't get his own way with transfers etc. I'm 100% convinced that Rodgers didn't give his all to turn things around and help save us. He didn't want to be here but wanted his pay out so wouldn't resign and ultimately got us relegated. Falling out with key players like Soyuncu and continuing with Ward when it was clear he was a huge problem for us, shows that he wasn't making decisions for the best of the club to help turn things around. Even now it still annoys me even taking about the vile little leprechaun!
  14. Rodgers would choose this team but would shoe horn in Danny Ward and hope nobody notices
  15. Maybe not but its better to have an option than no option. You can literally go across our whole team and say the back up players aren't in the same league as the starters. Not many teams have the luxury of having 25 top players in their squads
  16. Yeh he's been playing alot as we've had no other options. Fortunately Mcateer is back now to provide competition
  17. Thought he did ok today and certainly can't be blamed for today's result
  18. Just watched it again and it wasn't high but he did jump into it rather than slide into it which it probably what made the refs mind up. He's been on the edge a few times while he's been here but hopefully he'll learn. Its great he has that edge to him but its knowing how to control it and given the time of the game and the area of the pitch and the fact we'd just scored, it was beyond unnecessary
  19. Stupid tackle and unnecessary from Fatawu but I'm not convinced its a straight red. His studs weren't high.
  20. Absolutely done me this Ric 🤣. I'm that guy, turned up at my mates bbq with some little stubby bottles of aldi own beer and drank everyone else's premium beer 🤣
  21. Without doubt the most talented player I've ever seen in a Leicester shirt and for me is up there as being one of the most technically gifted players the Premier league has ever seen. An absolute joy to watch. His ball control was one of the best ever. I remember when he joined Man C and one of my best mates is a season ticket holder there and he said he'll be a decent bench warmer for us. I replied and said he'll be your best player alongside De Bruyne and he just laughed and said no chance. Well for me, he was Man C's best player alongside De Bruyne.
  22. Terrible news but he isn't a legend for either Leicester or England.
  23. Spot on. The police get well paid by football clubs (probably very well by the likes of Millwall) so it's an easy win for them to arrest people at football matches as they already have plenty of police there anyway. The police are given targets by the government and areas to focus on, so it could well be that an area they are focusing on right now is anti social behaviour in football stadiums. Not sure why people are so bothered about these 2 reptiles being arrested, they ain't going to prison, hopefully they will just get banned from stadiums which is exactly what they should get.
  24. This will be agent talk. Sheff U need a keeper and Ward needs a new club. There is zero chance a prem team has any interest in our 3rd (was 4th until iversen left) choice keeper. The were being linked with Kasper the other day
  25. Yes I was probably a little harsh in my comments. You're right that he didn't want to play Marescas system so wanted to leave. My point to the original poster was that this won't have changed and he won't want to come back, so we need to try and move him on.
