  1. Really frustrating that after going 3 up we become complacent and allow them back into the game. It could easily be 3-3 if it wasn't for Mads.
  2. That was my thought as well. Need mcateer and vardy back
  3. Anyone know what time this is on and what channel? Asking for a friend
  4. I doubt they'd pay his wages when there is a high chance they will be relegated at the end of the season
  5. Shame Iheanacho has gone as its unlikely we'll be able to sell him this window now. Cant see anyone spending money on a player who's unavailable for the next month that is available on a free in the summer.
  6. 100% this and I'm sure Ghana will reap the long term benefits as well. He will have many more afcons ahead of him
  7. Who knows what can happen with contracts etc but it's a non subject anyway as we ain't signing him in January. We won't have the finances to get the deal done this window.
  8. Why are so many people losing their minds about us signing Fatawu. WE HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO BUY FOR THOSE WHO DIDNT KNOW. THIS MEANS THAT WHEN WE GET PROMOTED WE ALREADY HAVE A DEAL IN PLACE TO SIGN HIM PERMANENTLY. Hopefully the capital letters might help some on here understand the Fatawu situation
  9. Not so sure. Given his age and his wages, it's not a certainty he gets offered a new deal and he may also want to leave. He hasn't exactly enjoyed his time here until the last few months. Id be more surprised if he's here next season than if he isn't
  10. Yes agreed but my point is that every game we get into good positions several times but sometimes out decision making/finishing let's us down. If we had a game where it all clicked in the final 3rd, we could easily slap someone for 5 or 6
  11. His goal last night was class. Such great composure to turn his defender and then finish it so well into the bottom corner. You can see his decision making has improved as earlier in the season he'd have possibly rushed the shot and missed or tried to find a pass and lost the ball. Unlucky with the header as well, great save by the keeper. Him and Wilf have become masters of late runs into the box and either scoring or assisting.
  12. Contract up in the summer and no indication it will be renewed so he may not be here anyway. As good as Vestergaard has been, out of all the out of contract players, Ndidi is the only one I'm bothered about renewing
  13. Bet they wanted to keep Rodgers 🤣
  14. When it works we are amazing to watch and you can see how meticulous Enzo is with his tactics. At times we can be frustrating but I think this is often down to individual mistakes/decision making but you could see last night that at certain stages of the game, Cardiff just couldn't deal with us. We have got better and better as the season has gone on and even when teams try to stop us playing, we always seem to find a way through. I don't think we've hit top gear once this season and it would be a very sorry state of affairs for the team on the receiving end when we do
  15. That's amazing. Feels like we are finally getting our club back after the shit show we had under Rodgers. The connection is back between the club, staff, players and the fans. Enzo seems really genuine which is great to see. I love that he's such a professional and clearly demands the very best out of his players but yet is also really nice with both his players and the fans. Top guy and we are lucky to have him.
  16. Probably not and its doubtful we have the finances in January to get the deal done. I'm pretty sure Enzo will want the squad strengthening with one or two new faces, not spending money on a player already in our squad that we have an obligation to buy in the summer anyway
  17. This is what I'm saying but many on here seem hell bent on signing him in January
  18. Depends what deal we have in place with Sporting, he may not have a choice but to join us. Also depends on our finances. Can we have £17m going out this January or do we need to wait until the summer so it goes on next seasons books? Only the people running the club will know these answers but I think it's highly unlikely that we could get Fatawu in Jan and have money left for other signings.
  19. The defensive side of his game is amazing as well. So many times he gets back and tracks runners and makes interceptions and tackles and wins important headers. Like others have said, if he could start scoring a few more goals, he's going to be a hell of a talent
  20. Possibly or maybe they are looking at getting him a transfer and don't want to risk him getting injured. It would be better for all Involved if we could shift him in Jan, even if its just a small fee, the wages saved would be huge.
  21. As much as I want us to sign him permanently, I can't see it happening in January as we are unlikely to spend money on a player that is already in our squad. If Maresca has indicated to the board that he might want one or two new signings this window, we won't be using the cash we have on Fatawu, especially given we have an obligation in the summer anyway
  22. Wouldn't surprise me if he does a Jonny Evans and gets a transfer and all of a sudden is available every week and starts finding a bit of form. He's been a disappointing signing from the start to be fair and when someone is injured as much as he is you question whether it is just bad luck or is he not actually doing enough to get himself fit.
  23. Showed our quality at times and was a comfortable win in the end. Could have been more, Fatawu and Mavididi both unlucky hitting the post. Good result and hopefully Leeds and Ipswich scores stay the same
  24. Their commentary is something else. They described the KDH header that was a great save by Alnwick as a half chance 🤣. Best bit was the foul by Etete on Fatawu they said wasn't a foul. I thought he was very lucky not to get booked, you can't not jump for a challenge and then just push the opposition player that has jumped in the back, could have caused serious injury to Fatawu. They said he didn't need to jump because he was taller than Fatawu. Utter nonsense been spoken 🤣
  25. 1 pen and 2 red cards if the ref got all his decisions correct today. Although you could argue that if the ref had got all his decisions correct them Harness wouldn't get sent off as the first yellow was harsh
