Yep did think that. Maybe we should have kept Rodgers after all.

The John Stones Papa John's absolute load of nonsense trophy I think it's called. Also the bass trophy. Fuming when we lost to Burton
-
We completed English football, so we decided to get relegated so we can complete it all over again

England squad for euro 24

Really good performance and an emphatic scoreline without even getting out of 2nd gear. Stoke were utterly pathetic but we were great, and Vardys first goal was absolutely brilliant
-
If we concede a goal, I'm going to boo. I'm in my living room but I want to make Enzo aware that conceding goals is unacceptable
-
That is a magnificent goal

This game is crying out for a Vardy goal so he can shit house their fan. Horrible club Stoke
-
Yep quite alot of this league are to be fair and it must be annoying for our players when they are constantly getting booted but as soon as we react and get involved, we are likely to get a red and it also gets the home fans fired up. We just need to do our talking with the football. If we carry on like we have first half, we could smash these all over the place
-
Need to not get involved and dragged down to their level. They are an awful side with terrible players who are happy to just kick our players and play horrible tactics, but we are 2-0 up and just need to not get involved. They will get a red if we keep playing and not getting involved in their nonsense

This is the issue. His comments after the Swansea game could be related to not being back by the board rather than not being backed by the fans.
-
Even if this is the case, its an absolute shambles that this hasn't been discovered/sorted earlier.
-
Yes thats a certainty, even if we do sign him. I doubt he's brought all his possessions and family with him for his medical.
-
Dewsbury Hall has gone to Brighton and we've replaced him with Junior Lewis. Enzo has resigned and been replaced by Gary Megson
-
Possibly, but he and Congerton hold a lot of blame for the state our squad ended up in and the finances. Of course, Rudkin has most of the blame, but we gave far too much power to Rodgers.
-
As much as you joke, I genuinely do still blame him for all the bad things at the club.
-
From what I've read, we've offered £500k up front and £2m if we go up. If Inter don't take that deal, they are mental. He never plays for them, they get him off their wage bill and they get some money for a player that will leave for nothing in 6 months.
-
Anyone else feel that Enzos little outburst after Swansea wasn't actually to do with the fans but more the absolute muppets that run the club?
-
I hope we are being sensible on deadline day.

Stolarczyk : Reminiscing of Shilton Days

Brendan Rodgers was one of them -
Everyone has their own views and opinions on our style of play etc and that's fine. We are top of the league and the results are great. Whilst moaning/ironic cheering from small sections of the stadium can be annoying, I don't think Enzo should be coming out and threatening to leave. I like Enzo and what he's done to turn us around so quickly but this seems very arrogant to threaten fans like that. I can understand he wants to create a positive atmosphere around the stadium, and as others have said, some of the negativity still stems from Rodgers and the fact that we shouldn't even be in this league. Threatening to leave doesn't help to create a positive environment.

For us to not drastically drop the tempo like we did from minute 15 to minute 40 yesterday. Swansea are one of the worst teams in the league so it didn't matter, but any teams slightly better could have taken advantage of us allowing them back in yesterday and all of a sudden the game looks different. Enzo himself even admitted that we weren't good for large parts of the first half yesterday. Like I said, it didn't matter in the end but against better teams it could matter.
-
I said the quality of the football for long periods of games isn't good enough. Not the quality of the football in general. When we are good and it clicks, we can be a joy to watch and can destroy teams. We started yesterday like this for 15 minutes and then from minute 15 to minute 40 it was awful and we allowed them back into the game. I'm not expecting us to play amazing, flowing football for 90 minutes every game, but why do we just drop tempo for such long periods? We had Swansea on the ropes and then we just dropped off and allowed them back in. They are an absolutely appalling team and the 3-1 result in the end was fine but things could be so different if we continue to drop tempo so drastically when we are 1-0 up.
