The Hamburg job was there for his taking but he chose us instead. -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

And how many training sessions would he have had Stolarczyk for? Ruud’s barely been at the club, this is such an absurd overreaction. We just played some of our best football of the season this week. -
It’s wild. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that much talent play with such little confidence before. I agree, it was frustrating not to do better against such a sagging side. But I guess they’re still Man City and still very dangerous, as they showed during our two defensive lapses.
-
I’m sorry but that’s just not true that we barely laid a glove on them. We controlled large parts of the game and set up several chances that we should have converted. Man City were very lucky to get out with all three points, especially after two posts, a goal line clearance, and a golden chance flubbed by Vardy. We played them tough and we were successful in imposing our tactics, we just couldn’t finish.

Liverpool 3-1 LCFC, post match thread
The_77 replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
The players probably aren’t good enough but at least there seems to be some sort of game plan each week that they’re trying to implement, which is much different to how we used to just get it to Ayew and pray. Let’s also not forget how much of a debacle the preseason was and how nobody at or around the club had any idea of what we were trying to do under Cooper (including Cooper) for many months. -

Mavididi has to slow down attacks, otherwise he’s our only player in the attacking third. We simply don’t get upfield quickly enough and he’s forced to counter on his own. He played an excellent first half tonight and laid on a great cross for Daka in the second half that should have given us a sniff at tying the game. -
Just a heads up for anyone coming in for the Newcastle game on Sunday: Copa90 will be joining us to film us for a project. It should be a fun morning and we’re expecting a big group for the game, so come on down.

JJ and Faes were 100x worse than them.

Clearly I’ve had a little too much Van Nistelrooy chat on my brain. 😂 The customers ordering bottle service tell the bar what to put on those signs, the nightclub isn’t putting an inside joke on one of those signs, don’t be ridiculous, one of the players gave them that message.
-
Some random Dutch waitress knew to put that on a sign without any direction from the players?

Peter wore a rollneck on yesterday’s Champions League coverage…

RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD

I don’t necessarily think him applying for the Cov job is such a negative. He’s shown that he’s willing to work his way up with the right project in mind, he was very patient at PSV and started coaching there an intern with the u17s.

Why would David Moyes come here for a short-term firefighter job, though?
-
This was so classy.

It’s gotta be the Scotsman, what a run this would be: David Moyles Steve Copper Brendan Rogers

C’mon. That’s not what the majority on here believe. Understanding that Cooper is neither a great manager nor good fit is not nearly the same thing as thinking the squad is much better than it really is.
-
Probably just a bit of teasing of Winks because of his close relationship with Enzo. It’s not a big deal.

Outstanding

Where’s Jason Derulo?
-
He doesn’t say any of the right things, though? He comes across as a terrible communicator in his interviews and doesn’t seem to have any idea of what he’s talking about.
-
I cannot believe someone can manage at one of the 20 most exclusive jobs in the world with such a poor understanding of tactics.

I miss that Big Dan song
