Yeah I guess you're right. I feel we did really well in this tight defensive games earlier on in the season, all those second half goals etc. but recently you're right the open and less tactical games may suit us more. Maybe the players have lost confidence in the system and therefore lost some patience to break down awkward defensive blocks as we've lost form

I'm not sure we do struggle against a low block actually. All teams do to some extent - especially when said side have a plan to counter as well - hence why Atlético Madrid have been punching for years. But for me that's one of our strengths scoring against ultra defensive sides I'd say it more Leeds who struggle against this tactic. I'd rather play bus parkers than a side who press us effectively and target our defensive weaknesses.

Hmmm, a team who always win at our place, whilst we are in bad form and the crowd are mutinous. This is going to be ugly. We'll have 75% plus of possession and end up still losing 2 or 3 nil.

He's woeful and always has been in my opinion and for some reason there are some people who seem totally blinded by his goals in another system in a poor league about 5 years ago and think he's potentially world class, which is clearly bollocks. I will concede he has an eye for goal and predators instinct but his lack of any footballing technique to take advantage normally renders this totally null. And the less said about his ability to retain the ball the better.

When he was appointed I thought he was going to be shit, then I thought he was a genius after 5 games or so, now I don't know what to think. The overall points tally would already be enough for promotion most seasons, and that would be job done

Few random observations 1) we are going to win the league now, it's there for th taking but let's not complacent again 2) I hate teams who play in blue and have a red away kit 3) Everything about Birmingham City is cvntish from their fans to their manager who is a tosser whether he used to play for us or not, hope they flush at last 4) Leeds or Ipswich wouldn't have won that imo, we are the best in league at breaking down a massed defence, that's where Enzo ball comes into its own 5) there are some outrageously funny comments in this thread!!
