  1. Anyone done Go West yet? Wout Faes, he's got massive hair, Wout Faes, and he's everywhere, Wout Faes, he's gonna clatter you, Wout Faes, for the boys in blue
  2. Well, if he takes a cursory glance at the table...
  3. This is just a rehash of the Foot Mercato article that says we'll likely go back in with a loan offer with an obligation, but we can only hope we don't!
  4. If Spurs want him he ain't coming to us. Wouldn't it be nice for players to actually want to come and play for Leicester?
  5. I can't see this happening. The positive here is that we made an offer to loan the player with no option, which shows that this was only ever going to be a stop gap. I can only see us going back with an offer of loan with option to buy (whilst covering the full wages), surely we wouldn't add an obligation in the deal - that is something we never do. If it does come to light that we get him with an obligation then we need our heads testing. I bet the guy from Southampton is watching us this season wishing he'd not taken the job! The article actually says:
  6. IN the middle so cannot vote. I am definitely less IN than I was last season, the sitting back on a 1-0 lead is really quite frustrating and if we can stop doing that then we'll certainly start picking up results. Although, as it took so long for BR to make the obvious change in defending corners I'm not sure it's something he will be changing any time soon. IF we could have continued attacking yesterday and not sat back I am sure we would have won that game. But then, as has been mentioned previously BR is an influential manager who players pay attention to, and is someone we may not have been able to attract before, not that that means we should continue following him blindly if we fall to defeat after defeat because of his stubbornness. I was around for the highs of the MON era and the lows of slipping to League One but the team we have now is far and away above the level that I've ever seen in a Leicester team, but why should we settle for that? Continuing improvement is something every football club strives for and we are no different. Current performances should be judged on current conditions and no matter your thoughts on the matter I am sure you agree that this squad should certainly be top 7/8 in this league, and if BR doesn't believe that is achievable he can no longer be man for the job. Having said that, I am happy for him to remain at the helm if he makes a few adjustments and doesn't keep trying to defend a slender lead, however if someone like Graham Potter were willing to come to us I think that'd be a no brainer.
  7. One for FoxesTalk to the tune of The Killers - Spaceman This place says he is so bad Sub winger will make you mad Lookman says everybody look now I'm gonna change your mind
  8. That's only if Kamara wants to go there, right now he's not sure. Think they made the mistake of getting Bruce to call him personally to try and push through the deal.
  9. Strange we haven't contacted them at all, maybe we are looking at someone completely left field. Or it could simply be a "come and get him" plea from Overmars. I say left field cause if it were Dan James why would he start today?
  10. Why do we do this to ourselves?! We all know it's either Dan James or no one now. Transfer Windows are the worst nowadays, I truly miss reading about a transfer for the first time on the back of the Merc. Anywho, this is the source... https://www.ajaxshowtime.com/hoofdnieuws/leicester-city-op-pole-position-voor-handtekening-neres
  11. Ah if only 'twere so, looks like Adli's off to Leverkusen
  12. Can be, as long as we carry on being Benfica tomorrow night, when they play PSV.
  13. I was asked for my vaccination proof at Wembley too, but that was over an hour before kick off. Everyone who was going in at that time were being asked. Not heard anything about this weekend's game though so I assume it will be as per the Villarreal game.
  14. How exciting must it be for this team, 4 games to go and the only team that can realistically catch us is 3 points behind AND we have a game in hand! In our final 4 games we play 2 of the teams in the bottom 3, both at home - our next game is against Coventry Utd at home who we beat 9-1 away earlier in the season! If we win both of those games and with our far superior goal difference you'd assume that would be job done. The other 2 games are against mid-table teams (London City Lionesses / Lewes), incidentally London City Lionesses are the only team to beat us so far this season so hopefully we'll be looking for some revenge when we play them at home too. Basically 6 points from the next 4 games and we're pretty much there, but just in case Durham win all of their games (they won't) and overcome a 17-goal deficit in the goal difference stakes (they won't) I'm hoping for at least 2 wins and a draw!
  15. How can you give that as a pen? The ball was pretty much out of play when Kane went down!
  16. Watching Wolves when you want them to win is a chore, but they really should have had at least 1 pen tonight. Refereeing has been shocking!
  17. Will take that result, would have taken the draw before the game too. We weren't at it today so definitely a point gained. Fofana coming on a positive too, hopefully some other players won't be far behind. No complaints from me, just hope Palace do a Burnley and turn into a decent side for 1 night only tonight too.
  18. Dire first half but I doubt Brendan will be too worried, we can't have expelled too much energy in that first half and still got Barnes and Ricardo on the bench. Think we might see a second half like the Brentford game. Or I at least hope we will!
  19. Amartey has been immense today. Think it's there for the taking in the second half. Hope Evans can carry on though, wouldn't want to change that backline half way through the game.
  20. Ha, not off the top of my head! Just looked at some of the injury histories on transfermarkt and just checked a few of the most recent Vardy injuries. Thankfully they haven't yet had any overlapping injury absences, although that's another reason why it is so long ago that we have won without them both.
