Not sure it’s been mentioned and he’s clearly not blameless, but I liked Marti leaving the same 11 out for the 2nd half. Easy to hook a few but making them go back out. When you can guarantee nearly all of them will have wanted to come off and not putting players in who’d not put us in that position is a good call. The game was gone, he’s clearly done here but I respect that decision in isolation.

James, Fatawu, Daka and Marti. As terrible at their jobs as some of them are, they are somewhat likeable.

After the whole December pay debacle (I’m sure there are more appropriate phrases), I can’t see how anyone can be proud to be a City supporter. I have complete distain for the whole regime now, in reality the result and performance today pales in significance. If anything, it sums us up as a club right now, an absolute shambles in all aspects. There are about 4 people at the club that are just about palatable at present.

Imagine watching a non-league side playing a team of 1 legged blind chimps.

The proportion of ‘ex-forces’ who have legitimately been involved in incidents severe enough to cause severe PTSD isn’t very high, fortunately. People go through worse in their day to day lives and other careers than the average ‘ex-forces’ do. This isn’t necessarily aimed at you or this post, but it’s a misconception that grates when it assumes PTSD is a factor. Don’t get me wrong, some poor souls have seen horrendous things (as I’m sure you have 1000 fold) albeit to their colleagues/friends. But in the grand scheme, not a large proportion have. I’m sure if it was a factor, they’d have used it as a defence. If it could be proven otherwise, it’d have been torn to shreds by the prosecution.

Met him (whilst on Lincoln’s Xmas do) in Dublin a year ago… seemed like a nice lad. Gerrim’in 😂

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

Bobby is genuinely a level above where we are. Luckily for him we’ve paid him more than any of the shit teams in the prem would. -
So as useless and unsettling he’s been under RvN and Marti, Winks was absolutely instrumental in our first promotion. It’s on us for not upgrading when we were promoted. We were run like a local leisure centre on the biggest stage in the world.

Hate Ayews penalties. -
Not personally but a lad at work had a ‘flu’ virus worse than he said he’d ever had before. Strongly urged him to go home when he was looking particularly rough one day and thankfully didn’t catch it. A couple of the other lads want to come in whatever state they’re in (even though they’re paid regardless and it isn’t looked on negatively being ill). The ignorance to possibly passing it onto others and then subsequently their relatives, who might not be able to afford to be ill through other health issues is staggering. Really grinds me

If Leicester City didn't exist anymore
Leeds Fox replied to Leicesterpool's topic in Leicester City Forum
Probably Bradford City (because they’re not Leeds and always enjoyed a trip to Valley Parade, other than it being in Bradford ) or Halifax/Harrogate. There’s something about non-league that I just cannot buy into. The players and coaches just seem so far up their own arses. The football is a good watch but I just find it hard to connect with any club due to the player/manager merry-go-round of it. -
Gerrrrrimin 😂

I have an ‘annoying loser’ allergy, so yes, I’ll give it a miss.

What gives you that impression -
We’re at the point I want him to play Daka because he’s one of the only players I don’t actively dislike. He’s not very good, but he’s likeable. Get him in!!!

Norwich 1-2 LCFC, post-match thread
Leeds Fox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I assume it was more of a general feeling over months/years of having to watch absolutely us display very little quality. Our recent ‘identity’ being ripped away due to complete mismanagement at the highest levels. -

It’s pretty normal to able to want deep rooted change yet still be happy in the moment. The two feelings aren’t mutually exclusive. -
Gifted a penalty from a situation that had zero threat. Still wasn’t confident we would even score that. Otherwise look like doing anything but score throughout. Conceding was inevitable. I was confident they’d score even after the red card. It was a terrible goal to concede too… we had 3 centre halves on for the full game. Okoli had won everything in the air prior and we’d defended ‘okay’ until then. Fatawu’s brilliance got us out of some holes earlier in the season and it wasn’t sustainable. Genuinely think we’ll go down now.

Could’ve been 4-1 if not for a couple of good saves from Stolarczyk.
-
Whats frustrated me in the past is ALWAYS passing to the closest man, but ending up with the ball where it needs to be. We either seem to miss out someone now or pass sharper. This exploits the space when it’s there. Before, we’d allow the opponent to close any space out wide before we got the ball there. Regardless of how our CBs defend, they can pass well. We’ve used them to shift the ball quicker and with purpose more often.

Cares and has some form of footballing ability. But the effort and desire is something you cannot buy… so let’s not buy him. Lets spend £25m(?) on Oliver Skipp. Hes good at making my hairline look good.

Said it to a few people, after I’d seen him for about 10 mins on his debut. Hes exactly what we haven’t had for years. A good footballer who cares. Whether that’s about his career, the club or his teammates…. Doesn’t matter to me when he plays like he does.
