  1. It seems to me that we're in the box seat and that negotiations are on going and appear to be getting into some of the finer detail. YT continues to say very positive thinks about us and I'm confident this will now happen as other clubs have only notified an interest. Come home Youri.
  2. He actually played very well in pre season last year and I thought it was going to be his break through season. Unfortunately his confidence during the 1st half of the season was shot to pieces. It would be great to see him turn it around but a loan may be his best option currently.
  3. The 2 memories that spring to my mind are him treading on the ball at Ipswich away in 1992 and going over like an upturned giraffe. The other is him scoring the 3rd in a 3-0 away win at Watford I think in 1993 or 1994 and him sinking to his knees and taking huge applause from the travelling masses. Not the greatest player but he always gave 100% and was very likeable.
  4. Tops lap of appreciation after the Burnley game was the very best of compassion and kindness. I was really proud despite the huge sadness.
  5. I remember that. I was at the front and I didn’t hear one desenting voice; only encouragement and the boys came out second half and played their socks off. I remember Vardy nearly getting a winner at the end.
  6. The numbers we take to away games has always impressed me. Also I think we have the best pitch in the league.
  7. Appears to be another great achievement for Top. We really are so lucky to have another great man at the helm.
  8. Delusions of grandeur?
  9. If ones at 3pm and the other 7.45pm I think you'll just about be able to make both games.
  10. 0-2 in 1984 against Brentford in the league cup I remember with less than 10 minutes to go. Ran out 4-2 winners. Spurs comeback pales into insignificance by comparison
  11. How is Silva still on the pitch?
  12. Man City fans are embarrassing themselves.
  13. Good. Hope one or two more are out. Strange feeling that I want us to bury them tonight but don't want Liverpool to win the league.
  14. Arsenal really ain’t all that and Vardy could have done better than a move to them and he knows it. Just keep on enjoying watching this legend playing for us while you can. He hopefully has another 3 seasons in him.
  15. They weren't great the first half either - We held them to a 1 - 1 at the Amex outplaying them when Vardy came on and we played about 75 minutes with 10 men.
  16. If they had a tackle of the season I think Hamza would win it every year. I’m still in awe of the tackle at Liverpool away. He was absolutely colossal today. I don’t think Brendan has fully realised what a player he is.
  17. He epitomises everything that you want to see in a Leicester City footballer. He's an absolute thoroughbred. He didn't have a great game yesterday, more to others around him having an off day, but his goal was absolutely sublime. He really is a playing legend and irreplaceable.
  18. I remember going to The Old Den in about 1991 in the F.A Cup 3rd round. I went with ALF - does anyone remember them? Tony James scored for us after about 3 minutes. We then held out for over 80 minutes as Walshy and then Paul Ramsey were sent off only to let in 2 very late goals. At least one was scored by Teddy Sheringham. I remember the Millwall fans still wanting to attack the away end but the thing that stays with me was that a lot of our end were trying to get on the pitch as well. Absolute madness !! I was also at the Hare Kristina riot at Ipswich in 91 which I thought was more funny than directly violent although I remember the away end trying to storm the pitch to get the match postponed as we were 3 - 1 down and facing the abyss of the 3rd division. Definitely set the heart racing but I'm not advocating the old days by any means.
  19. Great tune but haven’t got a clue about any of the words but Ricardo. Anyone got a clue?
  20. Who throws petrol bombs. Loved big bad Bob - We ended up in the Stoke end one Christmas game and Bob took some shocking raciest abuse from the home crowd to which my mates dad told a load of Stokies to put a sock in it. I was about 13 and hugely impressed - There again he was from The Monsell and Bob was a huge fans favourite and as tough and brave as they come.
  21. What a complete and utter Imbecile
  22. He has been colossal. The word legend is over used but not with Big Wes; absolutely love the bloke.
  23. Looks exactly what we’ve been looking for. Gerrimin!
  24. Yes, he was a superb manager and probably my favourite too. He created the team almost from scratch and it was tremendously under rated in my book - Just about got there with Emile and Collymore upfront and then Celtic came in and took him away. How times have changed!
