  1. He is actually very surly when you meet him and it appears a bit of inconvenience to him to sign an autograph for my son (out of all of the Premier League winning team he was the most difficult - Kante by comparison stopped and chatted and gave the impression that he had all day for you). May be more about me than than him though to be fair.
  2. He's starting to be a weak link. Poor distribution and for a player with his attributes in this area it's scandalous really. Doesn't command his box Poor at Free Kicks I always think what would Alex Ferguson do with Kasper's old man too involved and with him being too comfortable with automatic selection, with his coach and with the owners. If I was Brendan I'd move him on.
  3. Too easy. One header and he’s in. We apparently had 3 centre halves. Also think Kasper is a busted flush. Let him go,
  4. FFS that’s childish. He must be pleased to be back into civilisation.
  5. What are you basing that on? He’s still getting rave reviews from Stoke fans and some of the saves he has made this season have been incredible. Still young in terms of goalkeeping age but has awesome physical attributes and will be the best England goalkeeper over the next 10 years. He’d definitely fit our hopefully young vibrant team identity.
  6. Ready for a few pelters here as Kasper has been great for us and is a fantastic leader on and off the pitch but if I was manager, now is the time to sell Kasper and go and pluck Jack Butland from Championship obscurity. Right time and at a reduced transfer fee and for me he will clearly be England's best goalkeeper over the next 10 years.
  7. I also remember one of the most one sidedly biased Leicester commentaries I can remember when we played Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Cup in 1997. Something along the line of 'they left the back door open there and long may it continue' from Gordon after Marshalls goal. He also seemed genuinely thrilled when interviewed on the run in to our Premier League win in 2016 - They were making a comparison with the Ice Kings of 1963. He still sounded genuinely Leicester through and through to me A true hero of the game and we should be honoured to have had such a wonderful player and man play for our club.
  8. Sad sad news. What a man he was. I had the honour of meeting the great man as a kid in the early 80's. They say never meet your heroes but Gordon completely broke that rule. He was an absolute gentleman to an over enthusiastic kid firing question after question at him. We really need to get a statue of the great man - Really erks me that Stoke have a statue and a road named after him and we have nothing. Over used but totally true that he is an absolute Legend. RIP Gordon. Condolences to his friends and family.
  9. There is no room for sentimentality in football management and if he wants to leave we should let him go. It goes without saying Kasper has been an absolute hero in the broadest sense of the word but he does have major technical weaknesses as a keeper and is not irreplaceable.
  10. We sold out well over a week ago. Why didn’t they flag earlier? What a bunch of drips.
  11. Yes, I noticed that too. Deeney also gave a shirt and his gloves to a young Leicester supporter in the front few rows of the Family Stand. He always comes across as knowledgeable and that touch of class yesterday to the young Leicester fan only raises my opinion of him still further.
  12. I've just had a hair cut so a free hat is a great prezzie - No way is that beauty making it's way on to EBay.
  13. His last line has crumpled me ........ I miss you dad, with all of my heart. We miss him too and we are with you.
  14. Nigel was and is pure class. So he p*seed off a few old hacks who gives a Fuchs.
  15. Thoughts and prayers with everyone concerned.
  16. Sometimes you have to take a chance and with Evans looking as though he's lost quite a bit of pace we really should look to start Soyuncu possibly in a back 3 with the 2 flying full backs
  17. Amazing. We’re going to have to swap flasks for flares to get this one off of the ground.
  18. The problem is that the script is written by the media before the event these days and they hold on to the story line they want irrespective of the information and what they see in front of them.
  19. We've got Danny Danny Ward in our goal in our goal
  20. Get the F in !
  21. He's definitely come back with the righ attitude . I think Chilwell's been our best most consistent player in the first six games - He's not making those Kamikaze passes and his positioning has improved. Someone was slating him on Radio Leicester after the Bournemouth game - I assumed they'd not been to the game as all the problems came down our right side.
  22. Seems as though he expects a certain level of behaviour to which he is unable to attain himself. The word hypocrite springs to mind.
  23. This is the starting line up I'd like to see. Every player is comfortable on the ball.
