  1. The funny thing is Morhinos English isnt great, so he should stay quiet. His listeners so far have been foreigners, or london journalists, who all pretend to be cocknies, but actually come from bizaar northern universities. At one time he was amusing, but now is becoming a bore because, he simply has nothing to say.He now belongs to that horrible creed of 'the blame culture'. Even lost the doctor her job. Mind you probably she jumped and told him in his own language, where he can go.....
  2. Whats famous..???. One can get bored, but one is returned, with smiling faces and often delight when small amusing mishaps happen, with all these people asking for ones autograph, but its the groupies that make it dangerous but exciting... No matter what the A.graph-hunters or groupies chase down, NO is a difficult word to play around with.
  3. Bumped into a group of Forest, Derby, Wolves, and Stoke fans, and 2 Man city fans 20 lads n lasses, Yesterday. Too the man/girl they had nothing but praise for city saying how exciting they find foxes are. Mahrez and Vardy they understood, but purred over Kante, Schlupp, and dare I say it , our beast Morgan. I shown them some parts to go, along the Rhine and Mosel, they actually left wishing us luck for a top 6 spot. 3 were Stoke fans who hoped to get back for this weekends game, both sides agreeing hard game, but Neither side to end in bottom 8 .Promising for city fans, all 3 thought it will be a draw. They payed for a drink or 2 for me, and I appologised, when I said its an Late/ early celebration then...Daughters wedding last Saturday, 3pts against Villa,3pts againt Stoke, because all good things comes in 3s, they did laugh and said gottya.. yes the real 3rd was meeting them.... 3 stoke fans... blast, blast, is there a 'saying' about things coming in 4s !!!!!
  4. Just a thought for any of your trips....You could try Airbnb..www.airbnb.de Read it, it might be helpfull, especially for regular future trips.Goodway to also make friends and new aquantances, who will help on local info. MY daughter uses them more than me, but gives her + husband more flexability, and better local info coming from the landlords.Just normal people offering B n B. There are offers from luxus to downright simple(but always clean). Like I said just a thought...
  5. Why do youngsters dress in black, or greys, or just blue denim, and drab T-shirts,with so many lively colours around. In fact, outside the Leicester, and Nottingham womenfolk, if it wasnt for our W.Indian, Asian communities, many midlanders would still be stuck to greys. That said the girls of Leicester /Nottingham always knew how to dress on Fridays and saturday nights, even Thursday paydays. What its like now I cant say...
  6. 99 luftballons I can get to grips with but..... BO LC 1848 just made me think of...1848 bollocks , made me laugh, then again I am a BVB fan
  7. Think ..!!!! Now theres a novelty. We are talking about footballers here..
  8. Totally agree. Comparisons , should we drop the front 3, because they all missed sitters in front of goal???Defenders being pulled out of position, or being caught on the wrong side of the opposition, is the defenders equivilant of missing chances... Last season started the same, too many fans jumping on players backs just for the sake of it. Our great Pole Wasi, the prime example..Red card canditate apparently, too slow apparently, not PL quality apparently, he finished without doubt, forgetting the romantic notion on Cambiasso, one of the top 3 players from last season. Kingy, Vardy, Albrighton all lambasted, even this other guy, whats his name now...? mmm Mahrez I believe.
  9. W.Ham have alot of top fans, who usually call it as they see it.Notice they dont keep whining back to the gud ol days. Peters, Hurst, Moore, etc.Unlike Sunderland n Pool fans.I never felt threatened in their pubs..decent group.
  10. Carry on like this, Broad and Taylor will be dying to return!!
  11. Actually as mentioned in another post, Ranieri just needs to put all these pundit/media comments on the dressing room wall, Claudios job is half done. 75% of the squad know the feeling of beeing slated, newcomers have 1 more reason to prove their choice on putting on the blue shirt. Lets face it they have all proved, they dont just lie down and take it, and they are not lacking skill and know-how. City fans I am sure will enjoy seeing that Great Claudio smile constantly through the season. I have a good feeling , our front men, will do a "Stuart Broad" on some defences, in these opening games
  12. Everybody, pundits, journalists, weatherman, uncle tom cobberlys relations...got us down for relegation, We are in our best well known position...UNDERDOGS ( OR UNDERFOXES) lets face it, thats how we love it!!! End of August..12th, EOSEPT..14TH, EOOCT..10th,...EONOV..6th, EODEC...12th, EOJan..10th,....EOSeason...8th. No negative thoughts, just big hopes and dreams before a ball is kicked. Sunderland game is not big, helpfull if 3 pts. I mentioned last season, with NP and now has Claudio become manager, I give the team, until EOsept, before I analyse, or start to Assess the situation from my view point. We have added to the squad, hence we have improved it, can they mold and fit together, thats Claudios and coaches jobs. Firstly/primarily though the players need to give in good performances, and show the basics..
  13. surely any new buy is speculation...isnt that what its all about...?? !!
  14. Tailgaters, who cant see further than their own car front, they dont have an eye for the complete road ahead. I had one yesterday, as I moved out to overtake 2 caravans and a lorry, I was already doing 125km on a 120km stretch, when I looked in the mirror before I made my move there were 2 slower cars on the outside lane, who moved in with this idiot ca 500meters away (on a long curve), he must of been doing 160km, plus the traffic ahead ca 300m in 3 lanes were slower than me, by about 10kpm. Idiots who break on the motorway to let, cars entering in, or cars entering the motorway, believing they have the right of way, not understanding its them they need to stop on the slipway if need be .Filter means keeping up with the flow, not forcing your way in. I Drive fast, but more than prepared to move in if cars are faster, even prepared to wait before overtaking, if someone is nearer and faster.I dont hog the middle or outside lane, but do realise people make mistakes, in fact all of us. I tell my kids, before they go crazy over other drivers, it might be they have driven 20yrs with the manoeuver being their 1st silly lack of thought.I dont argue when driving in the car, I never turned around to speak to a passenger/child, I Never lose it, if someone is in the wrong lane, or indicates he needs to cross over, traffic because too late in filtering. A couple of years ago while back in the shire, I noticed quite a few signs, especially those showing traffic lanes for direction, being covered with trees or bushes... What is tops, most of Europe have used the idea of traffic islands, instead of traffic lights, something they copied from UK.
  15. she became famous, by doing more background work than you my friend. She was his coach, and mentor. This mam opened up his path to becoming a champion. Opinionate even criticise, by all means ,but do your homework first....!!
  16. I am ready to be ashamed , and win something. Like winning the lotto, never done it, but like to know how it feels.
  17. Best memories of any my holidays, used to love the place, mind you that was 55yrs ago. been around the world since, but belongs to the best.
  18. The most annoying things on the road.......too many other bloody cars.
  19. One of those, in The book of rugby jokes, 1950s,60s,70s....
  20. Simple question, even Naive, but I am sure its question on everybodys lips around the world, Muslims, Christians, hindus, jews, non-believers, etc, etc UN, EU, Nato, individual govts should join together, African-orgs and govts, have the military wack to bring their forces together, to eradicate, erase IS muslim forces. Forget sovereignty, not thousands but millions of refugees fleeing various nations, the sum could make up 3-4 nations themselves. Force, yes force, and take Land, from the countries causing this catastophy, and rehouse /reinstate these refugees, with the idea, with support from all countries, military and financially, to create 1-2 new nations, where they police and start admin/govern their new lives themselves. Why .??? THE MONEY AND FINANCE we have used and will need by coasting along and not doing anything will cost the same if not more.Let individual EU nations foreign aid and support to be used to expand and create this idea. Why..?? sharing out the quoatas is plain stupid, we will not be talking about 20-50 thousand peoples, per country, but the need for all EU nations to take on millions, forcing an unprepared infastructure on the nations, creating culture shocks on unprepared 'ways of life', worst causing resentment where before acceptance and understanding were the rule. Plus tribal/cultural differences will explode withinside host nations oblivious to cultral and racist hate that were Rife, before they became refugees. In the normal immigration movement integration is slow but both hosts ( no matter the host nations peoples origins) and new immigrants do evolve together, understanding is difficult but developes over a period. The govts and politicians owe their people an alternative, it took europe.govts and the EU.25yrs to recognise this problem, whereevery normal joe on the street was aware of if, and seen the danger. This is where the EU bodies failed miserably on the italian plight. We created, several african nations, and Kuwait, and Iraq, now create some more, for the sake of your electorate, even doing the right thing, you world politician can still grease your pockets, but this time help your countries, we the electorate should now demand, you take your finger out your arse.Europe sorted out its wars and human rights, now its time the persian nations, the middle east, and dictorial African nations, were forced into positive action. We have wasted billions over 70yrs, now only spend aid on the willing, dont waste billions again on disorganised unnecessary support. We can stop refugees and starvation over 20yrs, the powerfull, even less powerfull have the clout... use it.!!
  21. Those days or more precise those crisp winter game days or nights, proved how crazy city fans were.I got my first tracksuit when I was eight, sort of city replica, I saw G.Cross in a photo training in snow in a thick tracksuit and told my parents thats what I would like.I sort of got a cheaper version, and didnt really like it, until, my best friend and I went to a few games in biting winter conditions, we had DD tickets, which we got at special prices, sometimes freebys. (4 relations and 2 boyfriends of my older sisters were stewards or kiosk workers). If I remember right kids couldnt get into the DD alone ,had to be accompanied by an Adult, but our contacts took us to our seats. I digress, what I wanted to say is that bloody royal blue tracksuit, kept me damn warm and I was more than thankfull, only ever worn it for those game days, (had another for my own sports use). The DD didnt half unarm those biting winds, even with other fans around you, one prayed for a goal so you had a reason to jump up and down.I am damn sure we had alot of 0-0s in those days. One reason I believe the women in our lives thought/think we football supporters are simply mad. The games from xmas through to febuary could be testing.
  22. yup, it kept blinking, I kept blinking, I only hit post once but....
  23. ohhhh DavieG, that was a time when you and I were just kids, and man had not yet landed on the moon and Leicester had 3 train stations, and theeee Best covered market in Europe. You know those days when we had to clean our own noses, and could go as kids alone to the soccer game, taking the short route over cut, and when your dad gave you a clip around the ear, without us daring to report him to the social. If I remember right they are now called the 'good ol days'..when you dropped your sandwich on the street, picked it up, and carried on eating it.Everybody smelt clean on Sundays after their baths, even the uncle who just came from the pub.
