  1. Begovic Ricky Okoli (Or Vesty/Lascelles if fit) Nelson Thomas Winks Skipp Fatawu Musaka BDCR Daka Gives us Mavididi, Monga, Aribo, Page, Aluko and Ayew (sadly) as our most likely options off the bench.
  2. Be tempted to start him on the left against Norwich.
  3. Refreshing to see some fight and desire to keep the ball out the net. Little by little.
  4. I really liked how fuming he was at the end that we missed the chances and didn’t win. Think after the game I saw on the TV him talking through how the equaliser was allowed to happen with Ricky. Someone who has standards. Good lad.
  5. Gutted not to win, but if we replicate that second half consistently then we stay up - simple. Get James back, get Vestergaard or Lascelles back and get Abdul back and the team has enough if coached competently, and I think they will be.
  6. It is. But I want to do the ground and want to make a weekend of it with my mates. The football is secondary at this point
  7. I’m bloody mental, but do we think with our current trajectory this reaches members?
  8. Pearson for one last dance until the end of the season with Kingy as assistant makes so much sense. Shame how it ended before means it’ll never happen.
  9. Bodies through the door to hopefully keep us up. Only a loan so not too fussed by this as long as we don’t sign him permanently in the summer.
  10. Disgusting from Mavididi that.
  11. Got to be Ricky in midfield with Page and Aluko at right back. Possibly a bit lightweight but would be good to have actual footballers in there instead of Soumare or Choudhury.
  12. I do think the blame he is getting for the goal is a little strange. Does a world-class keeper do better? Probably. But he’s not one of those. He’s a decent keeper playing for a mid-table championship side. He made an ok save.
  13. I’d love Tolaj from Argyle - watched him a decent amount this season and he’s just getting better and better. Proper shithouse too. Absolutely no idea how this lad would do, seems a risky one but in our position most signings will be.
  14. My mates that live up there say it’s fine. Only issue may be sub-zero temps over night tonight - last week they were provided with covers etc by the EFL as the game against Crawley was on sky which helped them get it on, but don’t think they currently have the same items at their disposal for this one.
  15. Stolarczyk Choudhury Nelson Vestergaard Aluko Skipp Page S. Thomas Reid Monga Ayew Good mix of experience (if you can call it that) and youth I think.
  16. They’ve lost their wingers (Hutchinson and Archer) and their striker (Adelakun) in the last week, who have been responsible for 10/25 of their goals this season. Their fans are gutted to see Hutchinson in particular go back to Bristol Rovers. This should be straightforward, but it won’t be. 1-0 Cheltenham.
  17. Presuming if he plays for us (say vs Cheltenham in the cup) then he wouldn’t be able to go out on loan again to a third club? So, give him a month here with a few sub appearances and a cup start and, if we decide it best, send him back to Newport at the end of the month?
  18. We’ll win and it’ll buy Marti another few games. Again.
  19. Kingy in charge for Derby please. Genuinely not sure who we’ll get to replace Marti, but at this point I just want him gone.
  20. Think the issue here will be that, as much as the prices are extortionate, there will be takers for the tickets in place of those boycotting as most would never get the chance to watch us at Cov due to supply/demand. Not that I’m saying it’s right, but people will pay £45 if it likely to be one of limited chances, if not their only chance, of watching us play there.
  21. Went to uni there and have a few mates that are Cheltenham fans, actually visiting to watch them play Harrogate on Saturday. Deya brewery is a must if you like a pale ale. Frog & Fiddle a nice pub in town too, as is the Sandford Park Alehouse. Early shout for a couple of tickets in the away end as I suspect it won’t make members, please.
  22. Will the happy clappers realise now? (They won’t)
  23. I wanted to give him time but Christ we are awful. Something needs to change.
  24. Alvaston park was pretty decent the one time I went there. Need to get there at a decent time to get a space, but it’s free as far as I’m aware and a 20 min ish walk up to the ground.
