Percy article enzo set to stay, vardy and vesty new deals
Devonfox1884 replied to Tuna's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ideally a 1 year deal, but he won’t take that so I’d have thought it’ll be 2. If we weren’t so restricted financially I’d have happily thanked him and parted ways. But as it is, keeping him makes sense. -

Awesome. -
We’re going to need loads of players. Might as keep the decent ones we already have - and Wilf is definitely one of those.

Hermansen Stolarczyk JJ Ricardo Faes Coady Kristiansen Winks Ndidi KDH Fatawu Mavididi Vardy These are the only players I would be confident are good enough for a PL squad, obviously some to a higher degree than others. Others such as Cannon, Alves, Braybrooke and Nelson might be but some time out on loan is probably most beneficial if we can afford it to them. If not, they’ll have a big part to play. KDH is potentially going to be sold, Kristiansen might stay at Bologna and Wilf might not stay. It’s clear to see we’re going to need to sign a good few players, especially in midfield. We probably need as an absolute bare minimum: 2 x CB 1x LB/LCB 3 x CM 1 x L/RW 1 x ST And that’s assuming we keep squad players like Choudhury and McAteer around. Going to be a massive summer. I’ve only listed 8, but we may end up needing 10-12 players dependent on the potential departures listed above.

I quite like the grey/white one. That third kit is horrendous and I normally like kits a little more ‘out there’.

I agree, but I’m not sure that it’d get enough traction to have a major effect, unfortunately. -

Another email sent to the club, as supporters we can’t drop this now - it’s a massive chance to make a statement to the club that we won’t back down to them on issues such as these going forward. -
Pearson’s son only played 1 cup game if I remember correctly.

Who do you want for next season in the PL
Devonfox1884 replied to Fightforever's topic in Transfer Talk
Rak-Sakyi from Palace as a wide option? Issue being they’d probably want more than we’d be willing to pay to sell him. -
A QPR win is not only great for us, but also makes it far more likely Ipswich come up with us automatically, which they deserve to do. Would love Leeds to finish 3rd and lose their play off semi.

Pre-season friendlies, what do you want?

Also sent an email in, it’s a shame that they’re basing their need to respond based on the number of emails they receive, but I don’t expect an less of those at board level sadly. -
Issue is, even on a ‘big’ pay cut he’ll still likely be on £50k a week or more. Can we really afford to pay that for a player who might be able to give us half an hour here and there? I would love to have him for one more year but I think the sensible business decision would be for him to move on sadly.

Ricardo was excellent as an 8 against Leeds. For me he has to come in for Wilf, with Hamza keeping his place as inverted full back. -

Last night was the first time it’s really riled me. I’m not usually one to overly vocalise my frustration, but equally I’m not someone to stand and applaud the team off after a turgid performance. Something in the middle I guess. Last night I did actually give the players a bit of stick, and was immediately met with looks of anguish from the majority around me as they stood there applauding the team off. I simply don’t understand how someone can stand there and think last night was deserving of any applause, especially as the majority of players were off down the tunnel without so much as a cursory glance towards the fans. Awful night all round.

Enzo Out? Time for an official thread/poll
Devonfox1884 replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
Now is the time for the board to make a statement and show that they’ve learnt from mistakes in the past. He has to go. -
Hermansen Choudhury Coady Vestergaard JJ Winks Praet KDH Yunus Vardy Mavididi I’m sure all the ‘rested’ players could manage half an hour off the bench if they were needed, but realistically the above should have too much for Millwall.

You can’t live your life fearing what ‘could’ happen, any number of things ‘could’ happen to the players in the coming weeks. Play the strongest available XI and give it a go.

We really needed this break. I’m quietly confident that after the international break we’ll come back akin to the side that started the season so well. A fully fit first choice 11 can definitely win 6/9 and take a draw in another of our final games, which I believe will be enough for the title. Leeds do have a few tricky games on paper - Cov, Boro and QPR in particular aren’t easy places to go away from home, with Hull and Southampton still to play at Elland Road. I think they’ll drop 6 points in their final 9. Ipswich have a very nasty run, and Southampton’s isn’t great either. I think we’ll be fine for autos, just about whether we can keep our heads for the title.

Coady can start with Vestergaard at Stamford Bridge as an audition for taking Wout’s place thereafter I think.
