  1. When I was a lot younger I seem to remember a game against Wednesday that ended 4-1 at the KP, and each and every goal of theirs was a brilliant strike.
  2. Super news - thank you.
  3. Any idea if this is going to make all members? Hoping to grab a couple.
  4. Booked off work to go to this one - so it’d better make members! It’ll complete the trio of north-east treks from down here
  5. Weirdly I actually thought he was good on the most part, a few excellent diagonals and balls down the line which once again showcased the benefit of having a left-footed player in that position. I would have to say that he was poor aerially, though. I think a lot of teams target him and with good reason - he lost almost every header he went for today, particularly in the first half. They also managed to play in behind him a couple of times too, but they did the same to Ricardo so it’s unfair to individually criticise too heavily on that aspect. We do also need to remember that he’s still getting up to speed after a few months out, but I think he’s getting better game by game. Certainly room for improvement though!
  6. Only 2 hours for me so hoping it makes members.
  7. Do Brighton have any midfielders we could take as part of the deal? Really doesn’t make sense at all this.
  8. Defended well until the equaliser, and between that and 2-1 in fairness. Rubbish thereafter.
  9. I think Enzo has earned our trust on this one. On the face of it there are a few question marks, but I’d be intrigued to see how it’d play out.
  10. Only just remembered to check and for the first time ever, me and my mates have been successful in the ballot. Absolutely buzzing!
  11. Stolarzcyk Ricardo Coady Nelson Doyle Choudhury Yunus Casadei KDH Wanya Cannon
  12. Agreed. Surprised Cesare takes so many pelters in comparison when they’ve been equally poor (at least Casadei has scored twice!).
  13. We limited a very good Ipswich side to one good chance from a corner and a 20-yard effort that Mads tipped wide easily before their fluke of an equaliser - that’s a big positive. However, we didn’t create too much other our goal ourselves really, and you have to give Ipswich credit for that, too. If it wasn’t for the big decisions that went against us, I wouldn’t be so frustrated that Ipswich took a point because they probably deserved it. But they should have been 2-0 down and down to 10 men so it’s hard to accept the end result. That’s football. Let’s take 6 points from Cardiff and Huddersfield and look back on this as a very successful Christmas period.
  14. An ok player at this level but would be a waste of money if we were to go up in my opinion. Not really sure what his best position is, which should be a red flag in itself.
  15. Same XI as last night, with the exceptions of Choudhury for Pereira and JJ back in for Coady.
  16. Not sure what benefit we reap from saving KDH 10 minutes of game time to be honest. Strange sub that - could just about understand the other two.
