I see we’ve received an allocation of 1,739 for this, with the date to be confirmed pending TV picks due on the 15th of this month. Just an early shout to ask anybody able to help with a ticket (preferably 2 if possible!) to drop me a message please as there’s no chance it makes members - this one is only half an hour down the road from me, and having been to Boro and Sunderland in recent months, a short trip to a game would be lovely Thanks!

If he was better in the air then he’d be starting every game for me. Still think he’s a better option than JJ currently so hope he plays Saturday.

Leicester 1-0 Sunderland Post Match Thread.

Well worth the 7 hour drive Take the 3 points and never speak of how we got them again. -
It’s frustrating that there is no plan B, especially when today we were missing 2 players integral to the system in Ricardo and Vestergaard. I like Enzo, and I like his philosophy, but he does have a Brendan-like stubbornness about him, I’ve been thinking it ever since his “if people doubt the idea, I’ll leave” comment.

Have to take advantage today. Come on boys.

Is the member’s ballot not showing for anyone else?

Nelson against QPR, Coady against Sunderland I think.

Leeds United (A) 3-1 - Post-Match Thread

The last 10 mins last night was horrendous, but if we look back at the games people say we’ve ‘bottled’ this season: Ipswich (A) - should’ve had a pen for 2-0, lucky double deflection to equalise Cov (A) - arguable that their lad should’ve been sent off for the pen incident, held out well for most of the second half but admittedly collapsed once one went in Ipswich (H) - a shot which was swerving all over the place parried out rather fortuitously into the path of their player Leeds (A) - perfectly good goal ruled out, missed numerous chances, 2 out of their 3 goals were lucky deflections When you break it down we have had an awful lot of poor luck, that’s not to say mentality shouldn’t be questioned as when things start to go against us situations seem to escalate quickly, but I’d argue in at least 2 and probably 3 of the games above we’ve been done over by officiating rather than ‘bottling’ them. -
Moving down here in my formative years I probably saw as much of Torquay as I did Leicester for a good while. Such a sad thing to see, the owners have truly run the club into the ground. I’ll be making sure I get down to Plainmoor on Saturday, hoping for a big attendance relative to normal.

Fairly sure Nuge got the first in that one, but as you say, Wood’s was an excellent strike on the half volley!

Got my ticket! Very excited. Anybody who has been before have any recommendations of where to drink beforehand? We’re staying at hotel more or less on the front so I imagine there’ll be a few places around there worst case. -
Best goal you've seen scored against us

When I was a lot younger I seem to remember a game against Wednesday that ended 4-1 at the KP, and each and every goal of theirs was a brilliant strike. -
Super news - thank you.

Any idea if this is going to make all members? Hoping to grab a couple.

Booked off work to go to this one - so it’d better make members! It’ll complete the trio of north-east treks from down here -
Stoke (A) 0-5 -- Post-Match Thread

Weirdly I actually thought he was good on the most part, a few excellent diagonals and balls down the line which once again showcased the benefit of having a left-footed player in that position. I would have to say that he was poor aerially, though. I think a lot of teams target him and with good reason - he lost almost every header he went for today, particularly in the first half. They also managed to play in behind him a couple of times too, but they did the same to Ricardo so it’s unfair to individually criticise too heavily on that aspect. We do also need to remember that he’s still getting up to speed after a few months out, but I think he’s getting better game by game. Certainly room for improvement though! -
FA Cup 5th Round Draw - Bournemouth Away.

Only 2 hours for me so hoping it makes members. -
Do Brighton have any midfielders we could take as part of the deal? Really doesn’t make sense at all this.
-
Defended well until the equaliser, and between that and 2-1 in fairness. Rubbish thereafter.
-
I think Enzo has earned our trust on this one. On the face of it there are a few question marks, but I’d be intrigued to see how it’d play out.
-
Only just remembered to check and for the first time ever, me and my mates have been successful in the ballot. Absolutely buzzing!

Agreed. Surprised Cesare takes so many pelters in comparison when they’ve been equally poor (at least Casadei has scored twice!).
