This makes football under Jose Mourinho look like Kevin Kegan's Newcastle.

I know this sounds like something you'd make up for the bit but I really do actually have a mate who's a bus driver from Preston. Think he turns up for his shift in the morning and finds less of them parked up than this.

"Oh when the whites go marching" Errmmmmm...

For anyone that can't get a stream:

Fvck me I tell you what if Cannon got more than 3 goals playing for these he must be the next Ronaldo
-
Seems to be quite a deliberate overload down our left with Ndidi getting really far over right in to the spaces you'd expect KDH to be in.
-
The intensity of their press once we get more than six feet from their box doesn't exist
-
One thing I noticed in their last game is the amount of space they gave the opposite wingers. Early signs already they're going to sit super narrow and give Mavididi and Fatawu acres.

Is sky sports red button always non HD? This looks like shit wtf.

Infantino needs to be stopped so fvcking badly. Absolute pirate. Get him out of our game.

How is it any different to a ref making a mistake? All we hear from the anti VAR brigade is that they're fine with human error it's just a normal part of the game and refs aren't flawless. Well OK neither is the video ref. It's obviously a mistake but that's luck of the draw. It screws everyone all the time. I had hoped that having had time to calm down he'd acknowledge that and be philosophical about it and move on. Calling for a replay is fvcking stupid.

Ah right fair enough I didn't realise. I remember seeing all the artwork of what it would look like but nothing since. -

Like, definitely definitely? Has it actually been fully paid for and is it really going ahead despite all their financial issues? -

I mean tbf have you seen their league position this year? -
You can get Nowtv sport for £35 a month without a contract just on a rolling subscription. I think if you want HD it might be something like another £6 bolt on? £40 all in with no commitment. Or you can currently get a deal to have it for £21 a month if you do commit for 6 months. And you get to keep sky sports for the whole month and whatever else is on it. Now, I don't say all of this to shill for Sky but more to make the point that £10 a game for an EFL digital pass ticket is fvcking horrific value. To put this another way, a Nowtv day ticket to watch all of sky sports is £11 I think.

Lens were great. Reminded me of Ranieri / Shakespeare Leicester. Exciting counters, a couple of good goals (I could watch the first one a thousand times and not get bored) and bodies flying everywhere to block shots. Flash backs to peak Kasper and Wes. -

Is Everton Stadium definitely even going ahead? -
I'm not sure Preston deserves to be thrown in with the other three tbh. In my head I always used to have it down as a dreary northern industrial shit hole like the rest It's actually not too bad. Got some friends that live there and tbf I don't hate it. Burnley however should just be wiped from the map.

I just find it really transparent and obvious and depressing that more people don't. The anti 15 minute cities stuff absolutely screams "billionaires made up conspiracy theory" pushed by those with a vested interest in automobiles and fossil fuels. How nuts would you otherwise have to be to turn a benign urban planning theory in to New World Order? Fvck sakes. Same with all the anti abortion, anti birth control, anti millennial nonsense about not having babies et all. Got nothing to do with religion or morality it's just rich people panicking they the labour force is getting older & declining.

Was just coming in to this thread to post this: Love a bit of Warren Zevon. Desperados Under The Eaves is one of my all time favourite songs. Anyone who can turn the sound of an air conditioner in to an iconic hook is a musical genius to be honest. But yeah definitely a massively soulful lyricist. You know you're doing something right when Bob Dylan has called you the musician's musician.

I feel like a bit of a stuck record at this point but I don't really think it's likely overly performance related at all. I mean, sure, don't get me wrong, if Daka was performing like peak (real) Ronaldo then yeah we'd probably play him regardless of personal issues. But I still think Daka is out of the squad because we've got no long term intention of keeping him. He probably still wants to leave, is expected to go in January and so we're relying on Vardy and Iheanacho as much as possible. If we were losing games and struggling to score then he'd probably be rotating more but why the need at the moment?

I like how this works for most sports.
