I keep reminding myself that BDCR and Okoli signings came out of nowhere and whilst there were rumours about a Chelsea player being involved in KDH deal, the media linked Broja, Fofana (not that one) Casadei etc before Fab tweeted about Golding. Clear that there are no real leaks to the media and I’m sure the recruitment team are working hard on getting some deals done. I’d rather wait and get the right ones than panic and get anyone in. All I ask for is a team of players willing to give their all for Leicester City Football Club. If that’s what we get we can’t grumble.

I’m pleased by Coopers comments regarding competition for places. He’s spot on, the last thing we need are players convinced they are playing regardless of form or application in training. All I would add to that is another creative type of midfielder. One isn’t enough imo

The signings so far have been low risk high reward. i can see a couple more of those coming in before any wildcards are signed. We can need to get this window right.

If it wasn’t for his purple patch during the covid year no one would care he’s left. In fact, without that splurge of goals most of us would have happily let him go then. He took advantage of a good situation and got himself a lucrative 3yr deal and then did very little apart from picking up his wage.

Ironically, both Cannon and Daka prefer (suit) playing in a two. We should give that a go in pre-season first before binning them off. We need another striker regardless so may as well go with four

Underrated. Forget where we were and focus on where we are. I would rather have him on the right ahead of Mcateer and up front instead of Daka or Cannon. Lets not be snobby.

Interesting that Coops said after the games on Friday that there were players having to play out of position. Who we thinking? Ndidi for definite. Fatawu pencilled in for left hand side with JJ the right back moving into a 3? If so, where does this leave Ricky?

We would have got hammered every week under Enzo in the PL. He would have persisted with playing his way at the Etihad and we would be 3 down within 5 mins. Cooper may not be everyone’s cup of tea but once he’s got some more through the door I’m confident he will make us competitive

I actually think Ayew is really underrated. If a couple of signings like this mean we can afford a decent striker and midfielder I’m all for it

I would rather Wilf get injured and be left with those as our 6’s than a new 10 get injured leaving Wilf as our 10.

We need two creative centre mids. Those three are all decent but no goal threat. I was happy to hear Coops acknowledge that post game. Build up was good however in the final third we were as limp as a dying man’s handshake .

Right number, winger and striker are a must. I’d rather have 2 more creative midfielders as Soumare, Winks and Ndidi are enough for the 6. Choudhury needs to be right down the pecking order. If funds allowed I would upgrade Luke Thomas as appears Coops favours a left sided defender playing high and we lose momentum with a right footer there.

With Alves especially if you’re good enough you’re old enough. Much rather have him training every day with a coach who’s got youth team experience and getting minutes when situations allow rather than getting kicked for 90mins in the championship

Decent prospect, if he had not have got injured I’d have been interested to see him play a full season in the championship to see how he got on. He’s looked good when called upon however that hasn’t been frequent

Hermansen’s shot stopping is under rated and he was more dominant in his area as the season went on. Can’t see us playing out from the back as much as last season however his longer range passing is very impressive so can see him being an asset if playing more direct/on the counter. Ideal scenario would be we bring in a capable number 2 who could step up if he gets a move this time next year whilst at the same time moving Iversen and Ward on.
