  1. Mads JJ Faes Okoli Kristensen Skipp Ndidi Fatawu Buenanotte Mavididi Vardy I’d go with this with Ayew for Buenanotte if he’s not available. Need to see Ricardo on the pitch at some point. Would be nice to give El Khannous some minutes too
  2. Jet lag? I spent 5 nights in Vegas and went to work the day after? Same team apart from Fatawu for Ayew. We just beat a team who stuffed them. Need to be confident
  3. With his versatility surely he’s the perfect player to come on from the bench regardless of how the game is going. Can be used as a good attacking sub either as full back or centre mid or defensive sub doubling up on opponents winger. Very strange he’s not been given a sniff of PL action, especially when in a number of our games we’ve had subs to spare. Really can’t understand it.
  4. Will never understand any supporter wanting their team to lose. I guarantee this attitude will change if he turns it around and we push up the table. There have been many examples over the years of managers starting poorly and then everything coming together. Not saying that is definitely going to happen but got to hope it will.
  5. Back 4 and Skipp superb. Wilf looks better in deeper role. I thought Ayew did well but would much rather bring him on to do this job than from the start. Mavididi had his moments but decision making let him down at times. As much as I love Vardy I’d much rather use him as impact. Will get pelters for this but think the system will suit Daka and would like Cooper to give him a go after the international break (assuming he’s fully fit) Edouard looked poor - so short of confidence. Fatawu did well - needs to start. BCDR and Soumare served a purpose. all in all, a wins a win and we were desperate for one. First half we looked ok but 2nd half was concerning - the set up could have really cost us. We need a 90 min performance, hopefully the break will give the management team time to reflect and work on game management
  6. I appreciate it’s early in the season but this is a huge game imo. If there is a poor performance following a negative selection/subs, it will be a very interesting international break. After a spirited 2nd half performance last week now is the time to show some intent and go out trying to win the game rather than not lose it. A bad one here and I think it’s the beginning of the end. Watched the game Monday and consider them very workman in the defensive and middle thirds and then come to life in the attacking third. We will get opportunities if we pick enough attacking players and get the ball to them - cmon Coops play Mavididi, Buenanotte and Fatawu behind Vardy and have a go!
  7. I really hope that the penny drops for him this weekend. If we utilise our attacking players well we can give any team troubles, sitting back just asks for trouble. Football is all about balance, teams that just defend or just attack get nowhere. This is probably just biased talk but I think we have one of the best squads outside the top 8 and if we can strike that balance well we can push up the league. We just needs to be a bit braver all over the pitch
  8. Ipswich are so lucky - Morsy should have been sent off 3 times over and every break of the ball falls their way. Luck has to run out at some point
  9. Mads JJ Faes Okoli Kristensen Skipp El Khannous Fatawu Buenenotte Mavididi Vardy Ricardo, Ndidi, Winks, Ayew and Edouard from the bench FWIW I think he’ll pick Winks, Ndidi and Ayew for Skipp, El Khannous and Fatawu. Will also use a max of 3 subs
  10. There’s another Arsenal injury isn’t there… 👀
  11. By all accounts he’s a good coach so if there is a revolt, what is it down to? Negative tactics? Poor team selection and use of subs? Exclusion of Ricardo? Criticism of squad depth and then failing to use bench when players brought in? Refusal to give game time to Alves, Mcateer etc? All of the above?
  12. I saw a team last night bereft of any confidence, cohesion and desire. Is this down to the manager or is it down to a group of rusty players who have never played together before? We need to all stick together, whether we back the manager or not. Players can sense from the crowd when there is unrest and that will only transfer onto the pitch. Whilst it’s clear to see we are not clicking yet, it’s far too early to consider getting rid of him. We’ve had decent spells in our premier league games but yet to put in a 90 minute performance, when it does come this could kickstart us into form. Let’s get behind everyone and see where it takes us
  13. I would go with: Hermansen Justin Faes Okoli Kristensen Winks Skipp Ayew Buenenotte Mavididi Vardy I suspect Cooper will go for Ndidi for Buenenotte and keep the rest the same.
  14. Mads Ricardo Faes Okoli Kristensen Skipp Ndidi Fatawu Bilal Mavididi Vardy Bench: Iversen, Justin, Vestergaard, Winks, Soumare, Buenenotte, Ayew, De-Cordova Reid, Eduoard
  15. Mads Ricardo Faes Okoli Kristensen Winks Skipp Fatawu Bilal Ayew Vardy
  16. Alex Telles has been released so available on a free…… surely worth a punt to compete with Kristensen?
  17. Hermansen Ricardo Faes Okoli Kristensen Winks Skipp Fatawu Buenenotte Mavididi Ayew Subs: Iversen, Vestergaard, Justin, Soumare, Bilal, Ndidi, De-Cordova Reid, Mcateer, Vardy
  18. Midfield three didn’t work - need to play a natural 10 in Ndidis place. Thought Ayew did well and should have stayed on for Vardy. Would have liked to see Ricardo come on for last 10-15. Okoli looked strong, keeps his place imo. Could definitely have got something if we had been more positive earlier. Onto the next.
  19. I think he’ll do well here, he’s an out and out goalscorer. Not a speed merchant or target man we can hit. Someone who can play and knows where the net is. Got some creativity behind him and I back him to get some goals. Welcome Odsonne!
  20. I’ve also thought of him as a good penalty box striker, with good service I think he’ll thrive here
  21. There’s got to be one coming in….. surely…… There is no excuse - we have three loan spaces left and it’s a calculated risk to overspend and worry about it later
  22. He’s on loan at Spurs so couldn’t if we wanted to
  23. I’m optimistic we’ll get a couple done today. Got a feeling we’ll sign a striker (either permanent or on loan with obligation) and a left back on straight loan.
  24. we have people moaning about BDCR and Ayew being old… if we sign Willian this place would implode
  25. Over the next couple of days selling clubs will be just as desperate as buying clubs
