Old Town and Kazimierz are both very different but both enjoyable for different reasons, without sounding full hipster I preferred Kazimierz by the end of it though Old Town is very nice. Ogniem restaurant is good in Stare Podgorze for Polish food if you can be arsed walking there. If you want a bit of war history without Auschwitz then try a walking tour or Schlinders Factory.
