  1. True to an extent, but I’m going to less away matches this year even though we’ve been promoted. I went to about 20 last year. I got my first ST in 70/71 and have had a continuous ST for at least the last 25 years; but at 72, health and the match day expense take its toll. I’m on 704 points and my partner on 690, but we’ll only do about 8-10 matches this year. Historically it was normally 15-18, often 20 plus. I think new ST holders if they are committed will move up quicker than they think, with the older members falling by the wayside for one reason or another.
  2. Not so sure they are the best side. Germany should have had a pen to beat them and France bossed second half yesterday and missed very presentable chances and should have forced extra time. Spain are a top side, but nowhere near the team of 10/12 years ago. We can win, but need no mistakes and take our chances.
  3. Our officials are a disgrace. If it takes that long for them to make a decision they shouldn’t be in the job.
  4. I really liked Ayoze, but do admit I was mega pissed with him when he missed that chance at Chelsea.
  5. One of my favourite players, but I got royally slagged off in the pub and maybe on here for sticking up for him. I just loved his ability. Too good for most of our fans to understand. Being old school, I love talented players, but the general consensus on FT is that unless you’re kicking the shit out of the opposition and running around like a dervish you not a Leicester type player. I’m not surprised he left with all the criticism he got from FT. Really pleased that he playing for Spain, when most on here didn’t want him
  6. Typical Southgate. Totally useless.
  7. Forest were happy to breach FFP. The owner is on record saying he would sort any penalty. As it happens he didn’t, but they got away with it as the three teams who went down were so poor.
  8. Got to give Cooper a chance, what has corboran or Potter actually won recently? Potter seems to be a bit of a drama queen and failed at Chelsea with a very good squad.
  9. Fair comment to be fair. Fully agree. Plus I don’t blame him for going the amount of shit he got from over half the fans on FT in April. Loads on here wanted him out - looks like you’ve all got your wish!
  10. Thought this myself. Enzo would have had to have just beamed in from a different planet not to know of our financial problems before taking the job. We were already about £130m in losses for previous two years before he took the job, already well over the permitted figure before the last set of results which were known to be further losses. I personally think Chelsea is a bit of poisoned chalice insofar as their owners don’t seem to give new managers any time. I hope Enzo stays, but if he goes so be it. I won’t be gutted, just say good luck and thanks for last year.
  11. Yes fully agree. Everybody hung about and thwarted their bowlers. Great effort. Pleased for Hill, he needed a score. We bat deep, but need to win a game, to kick start the season, hopefully starting with the Welsh. We owe them a beating.
  12. Mate, I was gutted. Losing to that shower, plus the road closed off following the murder near the pub. Long journey home that night.
  13. What’s the fuss all about. I’ve just spent £100 on four season cards for next year. Can’t get excited all a few quid. If you get riled over £25, whether or not it is OTT in terms of producing the plastic card, you must be easily upset. So many other important issues in the world at the moment and this is top of your list🙄
  14. This is the toughest year ever to get out of this division. 10 years ago over half the league were rubbish. Burnley got promoted and were terrible. The current team needs more respect, a job well done in the face of a generally poor and exceptionally critical fan base.
  15. Some saints fan has gone on his forum to say that he’s being going away for many years supporting his team, but last night was one of the best / loudest home supports he’s ever witnessed!
  16. Yes and a lot more long kicks from Mads. More last night than any match this season. Mixed it up for a change which worked well. Think it surprised the opposition.
  17. Can still see Stewart’s goal, but not Muzzy’s!
  18. West Brom didn’t do enough to win or even get a draw. Obviously not a fluent display by us, but West Brom basically huffed and puffed. Our defence did enough. West Brom were very poor up front, typical championship attack.
  19. Ditto🙄
  20. It’s common knowledge he is not 100% fit, but too valuable to leave out.
  21. Both Saints and Hull deserved at least a point. Both home teams get the key decisions at the end of the game. A feature this season for both those two teams.
  22. Unfortunately both promotion and relegation will be decided by the officials. No consistency whatsoever this season. It seems the officials use the rule book as a menu and decide on an ad hoc basis which rules to follow.
  23. Be nice if some of the fans showed they give a shit. Thousands leaving early as per😡 Win or lose stay to applaud the team. Plastics.
  24. 6000+ proper city fans backing the lads non-stop. Fans can make a difference! We’ll make several chances - just got to take them.
