Ayew should never start a football match for us again. In football the defence starts from the front - the fans just want to see the players putting the effort in and trying. If you haven't got the ball, press and make life difficult for the opposition. Ayew is slow and laboured in everything he does. If energy is lacking up front that puts more pressure on the midfield and defence. It's not rocket science. One long ball over the top of our defence - goal A poor pass into our box which is going straight into the keepers hands - goal One corner hung up in the air on the six yard line - goal QPR hardly had to work hard for the win did they? I think we have slightly improved under Rowett he's an experienced coach who talks sense but the bottom line is - this group of players won't perform consistently. They don't defend well enough at this level under any manager. We've conceded 60 goals this season, only Wednesday have conceded more and only kept 4 clean sheets in 38 games. Recruitment is everything in football and we've got it so badly wrong - it's not just a lack of quality - our players simply won't do the hard yards and they are mentally weak. If something goes against this group, they can't pick themselves up and go again. They just give up. We're so badly run it's a joke. There's no excuses for KP - the evidence is on the pitch for all to see.

Hopefully that's a wake up call. Ayew does nothing. And the defence needs changing

I mean they were all over us in the second half. We showed no quality or composure at all and just couldn’t keep the ball. He’s definitely making us harder to beat though but we still need to play a lot better. At least it’s something to build on though. And if Daka can pull off a finish like that, it does make you wonder why he looks like a competition winner 95% of the time.

Would be nice to see us try some time wasting and dark arts here to be honest. Just shithouse as much as possible

We're bang in trouble and our home form is horrendous. The lack of clean sheets is embarrassing. However, I do think we got away with it a little bit with Blackburn and West Brom losing at the weekend. The only problem is Oxford still have a chance of getting out of it. It's not over yet and there's gonna be plenty more twists and turns. Norwich are a good team who have found some form let's be fair. And the battling draws against Boro and Stoke gave everyone a bit of hope. I might be deluded but if we were to cause a huge upset at somewhere like an Ipswich - when no ones expecting a win that really could turn our season. Lacselles is key - I really do have a lot more confidence with him alongside Nelson. Fatawu and Mukasa, James all have big parts to play. We're not playing well - it's edgy, the players look scared and the confidence clearly isn't there. We just have to back Rowett now. He's been in this position before - can he find a way to get us out the muck. Can he somehow motivate this group players enough Hope so because if we go down you genuinely dread to think what could happen.

Just listened to his post match interview - he's a breath of fresh air to be honest. Doesn't sugar coat anything just a proper straight talker.

He's absolute dog muck. Nothing good about his play in or out of possession. Gary please - there's no more time to waste this season. Tell Ayew to do one.

He can actually defend quite well at times but his touch is usually heavy and his passing is just poor. Hope Lacselles comes back in the side soon and stays fit until season ends. Then we might have a chance
