Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Haywood_6 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Like others have said, if we're sticking with Ruud I'd like to know if he's actually ready to be out manager next season in the Championship. I do think the players are putting in the effort but the reality is they’re just not very good. And to be fair, they’re not even his players. That said what really frustrates me is that he keeps picking Vardy Ayew and Reid. We do have other options. why not play Bounanotte or Mavididi, Daka? We could have even used Alves before he left for Cardiff, or Monga. And as for Vardy… his time is up. His career is done. We should’ve moved on from him years ago. He’s been a great servant to the club, but come on....relying this much on a 38 year old in the prem is just ridiculous and quite frankly STUPID -
6 home games without a goal that is ****ing disgusting

Monga could quite possibly be our version of Nwaneri and he's not even on the bench

'Vichai had a dream but Rudkin ruined the team' my personal fave

The protests organised this weekend have really made me reflect. If an outsider or the press were to ask why are you protesting? what would most Leicester fan's actually say It feels like things have been going downhill for us since about the start of 2022 for me. The game that really sticks in my mind is the 3-2 home loss to Spurs. We let in two goals in injury time and just a month later, we were thrashed 4-1 by Forest in another humiliating loss. I remember Rodgers saying the squad needed a refresh and some players had better contracts perhaps had lost their hunger. Since then the club’s decision making has been amateur to say the least (aside from last season where Enzo did manage to get our act together at a lower level). Letting hundreds of millions in talent walk away on free's. Being close to breaching PSR. A transfer strategy that no one can make sense of. And what do we hear from the club? Nothing but complete silence, fans just expected to cheerlead the team on and never question anything. And almost certain relegation for the second time in three years. It really does make you feel disillusioned. So what would you actually say?

Spread the word. Whether it's a march or a specific meeting point, make sure people know where and when to gather while keeping it peaceful (which it will be anyway). Get a poster made and circulate it quickly. The club has no grounds to stop it, especially if fans are simply walking to the stadium singing Rudkin out or holding the occasional banner or whatever. Share the details so everyone is informed. I’d have volunteered but I can’t make this one. That said did contribute to Osvaldo’s van. Totally agree with you about people who just complain but won’t take action by the way. Plenty of those types on this forum

Passing is supposed to be the best part of his game. But he can't even do that at the moment. Gives it away and puts us under pressure. Did ok last year but really poor this season. God knows what's happened to him
-
Piss poor tonight. Even Skipp probably would have been better
-
I'm fuming after that. We weren't good enough second half but that's a clear offside. ****ing disgraceful
-
Ok Ayew has had 60 mins. Gerrim off
-
We've really missed Wilf.
-
Need to start playing Daka in the league. Ok he's crap with the ball at the feet but he's an outlet and a threat if he gets behind a defence. Vardy's legs just aren't there anymore.
-
We're gonna win the cup
-
Does Ayew think he's playing walking football
-
Get Daka in behind Maguire - we all know he's slow as ****
-
Another Luke Thomas wonder goal please

And who would that be? Ruud is the manager we've got. It's early in his career and he's trying to get results from a weak squad at a high level. On top of that, he’s had almost nothing to spend because our board decided it was a great idea to give Cooper £50 million. Give the job to Mourinho and he'd struggle with the players we've got at our disposal right now. -
Please have a good game Okoli

Get Jack back on the pod for old times sake! -
Most successful team in the second tier, won it 8 times already. Let's go for a 9th why not? On a more serious note, it’s hard to say what players will still be around, who the manager will be, or what sanctions the EFL might impose on us. At this stage it's almost impossible to predict. All i'm hoping for is that we see the back of Rudkin or King Power finally **** off and sell the club... unbelievable they've allowed it to get to this after what Vichai had built here. 2 relegations in 3 seasons. Sad times.
