Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Merchant_Banker replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I was put on gardening leave from a job when I didn't have another job to go to. I had only just joined and spent more time on gardening laeve than I did working for the company! -

Yeah, I know the situations are different and, as others are saaying the manager may want to give the 'first team' more confidence, but look at the number of young players Liverpool have on the pitch. -

Any good ex-Man City Assistant Coaches available or are they all waiting for Pep to get sacked?
-
Tomorrow.

Whoosh?

What do you mean the deal has collapsed? Where did you see this? This club can't do anything right. Burn Rudkin. I hate this club.
-
... And for this reason it won't happen.
-
I expect this is what most of us were thinking in 14/15.😊
-
Maybe this the approach, you can have Hermansen for £45m or £35m if you take Ward and Soumare?
-
PSR Cheat, we sell the m KDH for £40m and buy Gallagher for the same.
-
Thanks, I understood that part, but how would the swap part work? Would his value be assessed and treated as if we had bought him?
-
A question for those with more knowledge of these things than me. What is the difference in PSR treatment if we agree a deal for £25m + a player or if we sell the player for £35m and buy a player from the same club for £10m as some other clubs have done?
-
I've seen the explanation a few times from people more knowledgeable than me. Based on that I understand player purchase costs are amortised over the life of the contract, so buying a player for £50million on a 5 year contract would result in a £10million charge per year, but player (or manager) sales a realised in the year they happen.

In another thread people are saying that the top goal scorer in the championship this season should be no more than £8million, but in this thread a reasonable championship keeper is £30million! I am confused!

It was in 2018

Soumaré - Sevilla currently - They have no cash

I have never understood his purpose in this or any other team. He is not a DM, I can't see him as cover for Winks and he is certainly not a 10. What does he give to a team? There must be something seeing that people keep paying him to do whatever he does. -

I think if you assume your girlfriend will make all of the tea you may have a very low nooky score. It would be interesting to calculate the ratio of tea making to nooky score though. -

You've got a job as a Leicester fan? Wow, how do I apply? -
Would make sense if it is 18months with an option/obligation for another year. One source quotes the shorter contract length another includes the option.

Is TalkSport any more reliable than a parody account that posts fake tweets?

Can't see them spending £50m+ in the January window! https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/antonio-nusa-brentford-fc-transfer-tottenham-b1135312.html
