I've seen the explanation a few times from people more knowledgeable than me. Based on that I understand player purchase costs are amortised over the life of the contract, so buying a player for £50million on a 5 year contract would result in a £10million charge per year, but player (or manager) sales a realised in the year they happen.

In another thread people are saying that the top goal scorer in the championship this season should be no more than £8million, but in this thread a reasonable championship keeper is £30million! I am confused!

I have never understood his purpose in this or any other team. He is not a DM, I can't see him as cover for Winks and he is certainly not a 10. What does he give to a team? There must be something seeing that people keep paying him to do whatever he does.

Does it matter? Recruitment is a team effort and, generally Leicester did quite well.

I think if you assume your girlfriend will make all of the tea you may have a very low nooky score. It would be interesting to calculate the ratio of tea making to nooky score though.

Would make sense if it is 18months with an option/obligation for another year. One source quotes the shorter contract length another includes the option.

My personal prediction: - Saturday 6th April, Vardy completes his hat-trick scoring Leicester's 7th goal. He races to the halfway line, stopping in front of the away bench and turns to point to his name on the back of his shirt. Leicester's promotion to the Premier League is guaranteed. The next day Rooney is sacked with Birmingham bottom of the Championship with no wins in the last 6 games.

On current form we should get 124 points (27*46/10). Anything less and it's Enzo out from me!

There seems to be a lot of hype on here about these two, but do people on here really think they will be ready for first team action this season. Given that Maresca has given opportunities to Stolarczyk, McAteer and Marcal-Madivadua they should get a chance if they are good enough. Where would they play? From what I have seen on here it looks like Braybrook would be ideal cover for Winks and Alves would be challenging for one of the 8 spots, is this right?
