I remember making the same point when Man City were going for the title in a recent season. So yes it does happen there, and their manager has called it out as well. In Man City’s case they have a lot of empty seats when the game starts, nevermind 5 mins from the end. This wider issue is not just unique to us. It happens at all top clubs, and most in PL, and for many reasons relating to football and the direction it has and is heading in this country.

The point about wanting a rocking stadium. Everyone does, at every club. The reality is very different, particularly in this country, and for many reasons… It doesn’t happen! I’ve sat in the home end at Arsenal - my god that is way worse than the KP. Same with Man City (just listen to Pep!), or Man Utd. Even Liverpool after they’ve sung YNWA. This issue is not distinct to Leicester or the KP.

Sometimes this forum and the echo chamber within it is not helpful!

It’s clearly a trend on how to get out this league as well. Look at Burnley last season with Kompany.

It is a very binary and ridiculous view of a complex game. I know who I’d rather trust - a former player, manager and student of the game or numpties that have probably at best reached the dizzy heights of Sunday league. If I was that unhappy I simply wouldn’t go as well. Negativity contributed to the shit show last season; and it’s the last thing we need now. Perhaps we need some banners and show of support for the style?

Yes midweek games are always lower attendances. Games are just harder to get to for many during the week.

I think this is all being exaggerated. Yes there is a minority of clowns and dinosaurs, but the reality is that if you have ambitions of challenging toward the top of the game you need to control the game - and therefore play like this. Just look at this season, the stats don’t lie. I also think Enzo is exaggerating a little. Pep does this sort of thing from time to time. I think mainly to protect his players if they pick up that there are empty seats and to emphasize how good he is/they are etc

I haven’t been able to get to as many home games because I live a long way away and can’t get to all these mid week games very easily. But watch them all obviously… We are where we are through gross management. Enzo is putting things right far quicker than any of us thought, but we are still scarred and damaged and that takes time to heal. Last nights criticism was that we didn’t win by more. At half time it should have been 3 or 4. It’s a combination of where we’ve come from - that we are used to high standards and are currently cruising through this division. I’m generally not critical this season though (it’s hard to be when flying this high), but can understand the malaise a little and where it comes from.

I thought he did ok tonight. Nothing spectacular and some poor moments. Bit my biggest issue with him is that it looks like he’s not trained with the squad or got the memo from Enzo on how we play.

I wonder if Coady regrets coming here? Now seeing Nelson ahead of him in a league game, although it is one of those safe situations to give young blood an opportunity.

We top the charts for almost everything in this league, but we could easily be better - for example we waste a lot of goalscoring chances. Bizarrely frustrating.

Iheanacho has either been unplayable for the opposition or isn’t able to control and pass the ball. Never known someone so hot or cold. As has been pointed out, I think he’s delivered some key moments - like the cup win and community shield. But I haven’t seen much this season that he fits the style, so if we can offload I think we should.
