I think the fact that Man City can only just manage within this new structure shows who it would affect most - those paying biggest wages. the rich six expect to keep growing their commercial revenue and this anchoring will mean that they wouldn’t benefit from that re spending ability (as is currently the case /will be the case with uefa’s rules) interesting that Liverpool and spurs didn’t oppose - two clubs with owners that don’t want to invest heavily. Man Utd with their enormous commercial revenue would certainly not want it. Man City clearly want to be able to draw up the drawbridge now they’re the biggest earning club. Villa are being short sighted imo

She is outvoted by the chairman whether that’s relevant or not we won’t know but Rudders has (or hopefully had) 💯 % trust and support from vichai and then top. Pretty sure vichai would have moved way faster than top has done on this though. (If he’s moving at all)
