Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Richmondfox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I can’t remember who we were playing when during a counter attack, under no pressure and with players running ahead, he stopped running turned around and passed the ball backwards. The stadium booed loudly if I recall. He should’ve been subbed straight away, never to play again just for that. It was almost as good as his game against Palace. All the pre game nonsense of he will want to score against his old team, hold up play, wins fouls, horrible to play against etc. He got the ball on the right wing, turned 90 degrees and ran to the left wing, ignoring everyone ahead and gave the ball away for a throw in further back than he started. I won’t miss his two wooden leg hobble and bull dog licking piss face after a ref doesn’t give him a foul for falling over. -
Whats annoying is they have shown against Soton and Derby the best and worst of their ability and attitude. They can press from the front and attack as a team yet they choose not to. Slowing the play from the back and Mav/Fat standing still on the halfway line to not pass the ball or Ayew falling over doesn’t improve our play. Playing quicker, direct and with support made such a difference but only capable 45 mins every two months.

I can only think that managers when they first see him think he has the attributes needed and see that he’s played in the prem. I feel a lot of managers understandably think they can improve players, it’s their hubris/naivety that keep playing them even though it’s clear what’s happening on the pitch. Just like with Okoli and his inability to pass the ball. Hamza has always been an idiot off the pitch and poor on it.

I read that post more as players at a certain ability level that currently don’t change the game, rather than they are toxic hangers on that have a negative impact when playing. Monga has shown he has limited abilities playing as a team member, all wax no wick sadly but that’s due to mismanagement by the coaches and Marti. He will be great under a manager and coaching staff with a clue.
-
No slow build up at all. Sitting back and pratting about causes more problems. They have a weak mentality when threatened but also don’t realise that they are causing the problems. Same players, tactics and mistakes. They will only start to batter a team once we have been relegated.
-
Senior pro & captain and another manger too scared to drop him. Maybe he thinks he won’t be popular with the fans if he drops him. Ricardo should drop himself.
-
I’m at work so can’t watch this game on my phone. How are the wingers playing? I’m guessing exactly the same as all season. Stand still to receive the ball deep, ignore passes and try to skin everyone
-
After getting skinned then giving their defender a rock bottom.
-
Lets see if it will be a firth game where Okoli gifts them a goal. Same team, same mistakes. I can understand keeping the same team if he’s changed the tactics and drilled them into the team. They will play exactly the same but I expecting Skipp to be some sort of link to the attackers. FC Backpass until we concede.

Can’t defend. Constantly backing off and allowing the opposition to walk or cross into the box. Same mistakes from Okoli being unable to pass the ball, same mistakes from tired Ricardo and brain dead Thomas. Can’t score. No press. Same greedy and lazy play from both wingers. Daka & Ayew. -
He’s not a team player, doesn’t seem to have a footballing brain or the abilities to match his choices on the pitch.
-
There is an even easier route called the pass and move. None of our coaching team and wingers seem to have heard of this tactic. They will try and do the difficult part, fail, pass back and just stand still, no attempt to run into space to receive a forward pass yet our wingers and full backs get opened every game like this. Monga has been badly coached and hasn't been shown how to transfer his street ball skills to be useful in a team.
-
Even better when he has the chance to cross but waits for a defender so he can try to skin him, if he does he then cuts back for a second go. Under thinks and over plays. He's a young Ayew. He isn't a team player, he hasn't got the instincts of a winger.
-
He adds nothing positive to the team. He will keep getting picked because he's captain. If he was a real leader he would step aside.
-
3 games in a row.
-
I'm taking my dog out for a walk, he has more control with a deflated ball than this lot.
-
Mav gets done first, Nelson poor clearance and Okoli brain shuts down.
-
Clown show from pissing around. No one can tackle or block.
-
Do our players know that you are allowed to press closer than 1 metre away.
-
Back to overplaying and under thinking. This stink out starts with Nelson, the first pass is on but he cuts back to Okoli. Every pass to him is a risk yet they constantly do it. Not sure which is quicker, their brains or Ricardo's legs. It takes too long to get the ball to the midfield and then it arrives behind the brain and feet of Skipp. Zero press from the front. Fatawu is in that mood where all he wants to do is cut inside and not be part of a team.
-
Both are slow and thick. Nelson turns back constantly for Okoli to stutter and then pass back or to the opposition.
-
Especially as he has to slow down to do anything when he could just keep the pace and force the defender backwards.
-
This team is too happy to pass back no matter what. Useless from Skipp there, why play someone s limited that high up.
-
And then they try and pass to Skipp who is in a higher congested area and expect him to be able to do anything. It's like they just repeat and rinse rather than address why it doesn't work in the first place. The whole defence is sharing a brain cell. Nelson is the only one with any sort of future and he's infested by this slow rot.
-
His brain reboots before he can attempt anything.
