I question any English player that's spent most of their time abroad ahead of their best years having gone through several English youth academies. He wasn't deemed good enough for top level English football. Is proving so.

Always been rubbish

Played for 7 teams since he turned 18 is my point. If you are getting shipped around that offen over that period of time, especially second-rate abroad, then its not the best look. We took a chance on him, aside from one spell he's looked largely brainless and selfish.

Doesn't play in the way he made out we would pre-season in any way, shape or form. No high press, no always pushing for more goals, no attacking aggression. Why say one thing and do absolutely the opposite?

What I will say is that pre-season he repeatedly, in every interview, made a lot about playing from the front, always pushing for a win, and if we are winning, more goals and always being aggressive in the press high up the pitch and in our attacking play. Unfortunately none of that is actually present. Which is concerning. Either he's a liar or he thinks this is attacking football.

Awful player that looked great with one short inform spell. We took him on as a journeyman, and now we know why. Lack of brain is very Schlupp.

Poor. All our forward options are utterly dreadful. Its going to be a long season if we don't get a goalscorer in January.
