My issue with them is that they are shit. Certain drinks with certain viscosity will remain in the cap, so when taking a swig, they drip on you, your face, your clothes. Its not nice and its not practical.

Well, one week on from last Sundays hip issue and no better, so already a week with no running, no long run tomorrow and the half marathon 2 weeks away. So. ****ing. Annoyed.

Celeb traitors tonight - Cast is actually pretty good for one of these 'celeb' specials. Disappointed there's no Bob Mortimer, contrary to early reports that he was going to be on it.

3 weeks out from Leicester Half and my hip has gone. Felt it after Parkrun last week but managed to run my normal morning 5ks this week and it held up although not entirely comfortable. Skipped parkrun yesterday and today's long run should have been 16k, managed 12 but it was pretty much agony after 10 and I probably should have just stopped. Pain is in hip and top of my groin so I dont know what part of my body is actually injured, but having had to pull out last year through injury I can't face doing it again this year when until this point I've felt probably the fittest I have since my late teens/early 20s. I'll take this week off (which obviously isn't ideal prep) in the hope of a miracle, but looks like ill be running the half dosed up on ibuprofen and pretty much crawling around. Devastated.

Sadly, whilst the Media and Reform are currently on a drive to normalise this kind of behaviour this is only going to become more frequent. With 60+% of the voting public willing to put Farage in charge it's clear a lot of people that held their nasty views to themselves are increasingly emboldened to display it for all to see. I even see it in my office at work, some right nasties coming out of the woodwork this year. Sadly another Symptom of Trumps America crossing the pond and the legacy of Boris Johnson. Hate and division is not only on the rise, it's becoming the new normal. Anyway, sorry to hear this happened to you Stan. It's really not a nice thing to have to experience in 2025.

Agree with this. Same applies to the Youth. Nelson and Page have both proven themselves - if players in their positions aren't performing, why not give then a proper go? I don't buy this 'oh but their young' - time has moved on, football has moved on. Players this age can handle way more than we seem to give credit for.

Trouble is we have players in the squad who can. Even Daka can press. Page, James (higher up), Monga, (Alves had we not loaned him out).

The fact that managers still keep doing this and standing by it throughout the footballing world genuinely shocks me.

If the likes of Ayew, Faes, BDR, Thomas Skipp are good enough then its criminal he can't get in the squad.
