Has anybody signed up to do the Market Harborough Half Marathon? Im tempted, but that route looks absolutely brutal.

I dont wear a running watch as I just love my G-Shock Square but have been thinking of getting just a basic Garmin Forerunner 55 to wear whilst running, but then if I'm not wearing it all the time I guess I lose all the HR, Recovery and Sleep data potential and then if I am wearing it all the time I have to sacrifice the G-Shock (and the Garmin is ugly). One of life's greatest conundrums.

100%, used to go St Ives every year on the train, for both of us in total its £400 return journey. Thats flights to Italy plus half a weeks spending money already. I know Devon and Cornwall accommodation and eateries also have super premium prices compared to most of the UK but still, I shouldn't be needing £2k plus for a weeks holiday in the UK

Fk that. I used to holiday all the time in Devon and Cornwall but the fact is a proper UK holiday now is disgustingly expensive. I'd rather get some proper culture, sun or both for that price (and often cheaper) all day long.

Which makes me wonder why they bothered turning their successful pizza joint into a half arsed micro-pub in the first place? Its like a cafe inside too, zero ambience. The Tap is always ridiculously cold and without music the lack of ambient noise is a real turn off. Babelos wins hands down on QR for nice gaff, nicest pints and nicest atmosphere. But I'd much rather drink in The Classroom on Allandale - a proper micro pub serving superb drinks and always, always rammed.

Having a bad spell since Christmas again. The weather really hasn't helped and I've just lost a lot of joy in the things that usually keep me going. On top of that, I've been in the same job for 20 years. The last 10 have gone steadily down hill and right now its just pure torture. I applied for a new job which on the face of it offers me a big change, working from home 4 days out of 5, office is a shorter walk away, attached to a decent coffee shop and gym. I know the work there is shit though and probably as stressful workload wise as what im doing now. I have an interview on Friday and since I found out I can't really eat, sleep. Feel quite nauseous with anxiety, not just for the whole interview thing but because deep down I have some really important relationships to me in my current job. I realise I basically stayed there so long because of the people. Feel like im probably trapped in the prison that is my own comfort zone. The people I care about at work would probably lose touch with me in a matter of weeks, I know because I see it happen all the time. I just dont know whether the change isn't what I need right now as ive got a bit of stress on or whether im just looking for excuses to stay in my comfort zone, even though 90% of the time its detestable work wise. Feel like im already mourning it... weird feeling, disconcerting and im finding it quite emotionally difficult.

Tried on some Adidas Evo SL today...think im going to buy some. Fancy the White/Black tbh and I wouldn't usually opt for white. Guess im joining the Evo Sl club.
