Do you notice how Crystal Palace play in the PL, don't have a points deduction hanging over them and can afford £30m for a young talented player? Like it or not, Josh Brownhill may likely be the best we can attract and even that is a push. Palace don't have that same issue.

There is absolutely no doubt that are FB's aren't good enough. I've been saying all pre-season that we need at least one more in but tbh, I'm starting to think it won't make a difference. Not in defence anyway. The way Marti uses his FB's we are always going to get caught out in the wide areas with a big switch on the counter because the fullbacks are up and in-field. We SHOULD at least make the most of it and have FBs that can attack though because just now we are leaving ourselves vulnerable whilst not gaining anything in attack either.

Bassey progressed because he finally accepted that he is a CB and not a LB. That's why he left because we had a different opinion on where his best position was and he's only now becoming the player he is because he's accepted that he was wrong.

Utter disgrace! The only person who walks away from that with any vlcredit is Monga. Possibly even Faes who i thought did well. Everyone else was shocking. Fatawu was who surprised me the most, he was utter garbage.
