Obviously, we can't really read much into the training videos. It is a tiny clip of what the club want us to see but he looks involved. Someone who demands respect and doesn't take crap, which I suppose is why he clashes with those above him so much but we need that and we need someone who can control the dressing room. I hope it is him.

I think even for the Championship, Hamza struggles in this regard. With his physical attributes, he SHOULD be better than he is. Like I say, I think it's his football intelligence that let's him down and like you say in the video, that is required for that free man role. With Hamza, even at CDM, he doesn't seem to be able to read the game. He doesn't know where he has to be until he has to be there if that makes sense and it leads to him looking like he is always chasing to catch up, which then leads to the rash challenges.

I actually think Ayew might do well in this system as the false 9 but hopefully as a backup option. Hamza is an interesting one. He can play several positions that would make hime a candidate for that free man role but as @StriderHiryu said, that role takes football intelligence and that IMO is what holds Hamza back.

I dunno. I would like a bit more creativity in that CM area. We could play Ricardo there but that weakens RB.

I took out the players that I feel are likely/very likely to go. It's still a decent squad by Championship standards but not nearly as impressive as what it was and I'm not certain we will have much to improve it. A backup GK on a free, a loan CM and a loan ST being it wouldn't surprise me.

I think, worst case scenario will be, we lose Mads, Ndidi, Bilal, a few others that I'm not too worried about like VK, Faes, Soumare and we will sign 3 players. A backup GK on a free and a CM and ST on loan.

Instead of the badge, just have a Foxes arse.

The fact that the company who provides these funds has very little to no online presence (which is strange for a company that operates solely online) and only seemed to pop up a month or towards ago. Their head office address seems to be a slum, somewhere in Malaysia and and they are only licensed in Caracao where I can buy a gaming license for relatively cheap and the whole process takes 4 weeks.

There is absolutely NO CHANCE that KP aren't aware of how the fans felt regarding the last sponsor. The fact they have done it again speaks volumes about their attitude towards fans, they DO.NOT.CARE. And to be honest, why should they? The same people will still go, week in and week out, shooting dirty looks at anyone who cares question our overlords as they drag us through the mud and into the ground.

I just think, going into the season with one LB (Thomas) who has not been good enough for the majority of his time here and a bunch of RB's is a little bit of a risk. Especially when 2 of those RB's are already going to have to adjust from u21 football to championship football. If we don't sign a new CB, you are litteraly advocating going into a new season with only one left footed player out of ALL our defensive options (assuming VK leaves). Any team with a decent press will expose that kind of inbalance.

Signing a LB shouldn't block the progression of two RB's just because they CAN play there. Let's try and play as many players in their ACTUAL position, shall we?

I get that having RB's who can play LB is a good option to have but I wouldn't say it's ideal. Surely if would be preferable to have two ACTUAL LB's. Aluko, Woyo, JJ etc should ideally be considered for their primary position. Especially Aluko. Give the boy a chance before shifting him out of position.

I really think that we should be giving our young players the best possible chance to succeed. Which is why I don't understand everyone's eagerness to play Aluko at LB. He CAN play there but he isn't a LB. He should either be at RB or at least, a RCB in an Enzo style system where he spends most of his time at the RB position anyway. If we ARE going to insist on a RB backing up the LB position, it should be JJ. He has more experience there and truth be told, his best run of games for us is probably in that position. As a LB, pulling inside to the LCB area.
