That was my initial reaction too but the more I thought on it, he would offer depth at RW/LW. He would give the option of playing traditional FBs and he even offers the option of playing the Ricardo role on the other side.
-
I would take a chance on Sessegnon. Offers cover at LW, the possibility of going to a traditional LB and the option of playing the Ricardo role from the left hand side. I think if we went for this AND Brereton Diaz or Hlozek who would offer MORE depth for the LW as well as giving them the chance to claim the ST spot... The latter we would likely get on loan with an option and the former, for free... If we need to go the budget route, they would be decent additions.

This time next season...........................
Scotch replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just secured 17th place on the last day after a managerial change in March. -
Nice of them to leave Glasgow cleaner than the found it.
-
To be fair, a 70/30 split with Fury is still probably miles clear of a 50/50 split with anyone else around.

Ferguson is an absolute must. He was having a great season at Bologna. Playing well, was their captain and was being tracked by Juventus and Napoli before his injury.
-
I'm not downplaying his part in our recent success but he wasn't our star player. Mcginn was. I would actually Play Mctominay as our striker for the Euros. We have an abundance of good CM's (Mcgregor, McGinn, Ferguson, Gilmour, Christie, Armstrong) but no decent striker and as he proved in qualifying, he can score when it matters.
-
Definately. He's been the heartbeat of an over-performing Scotland AND Villa.
-
From a biased Scottish perspective, I'd have Tierney in over Shaw and McGinn 100% ahead of Mctominay.
-
Yup! And we will do it with a smile and a song. Scotland = A haven for white, plastic, garden chairs.

The new Morton (my home team) kit has 2,000 fan names embroidered into the design. I thought that was a nice touch. Doesn't look to bad either.
-
Wasn't he 25?
-
I don't think that's all that bad... a couple of loans, a few free transfers and one or two for cash money... sorted.

Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
Scotch replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
I agree that it should be scrapped and replaced with the offside technology. VAR always comes down to human judgment anyway so there is no point of it if we can't get more consistency than we have without it. The offside tech however is yes/no on/off though so easier to be fair throughout. -
Fifa to explore impact of moving domestic matches abroad
Scotch replied to Langley's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don't see the FA taking the heat for this. They will open it up as a possibility that clubs can arrange amoungst themselves and ofcourse the top 6 will jump on it immediately. I would like to say that our owners wouldn't but a home tie in Thailand would be too irresistible I fear. -
Yeah, we never seem to take advantage of the free transfer market. I've never understood it.
-
What does that matter? The statement was "Hendo-type player" and the response was that KDH would be happy with that because of his honours. I simply pointed out that honours don't always mean much. His attendance was never relevant.
-
It is a slight possibility that some other clubs aren't run by conplete morons and have realised this and conducted their finances in a way that allows them to take advantage of other teams need to sell.
-
Ex Man Utd player Anderson was god awful and has 4 PL, 1 league Cup, a club world cup and a champions league...
-
Not to be a d!ck but you also heard that the Cannon deal had fallen through and that Chelsea were holding out for a PL move with Casedei the day before he signed. ...Maybe you're sources aren't the best?
-
I'd honestly take Ryan Christie as a KDH backup. Reliable squad player.
-
Hopefully a Rangers win today to keep it exciting. A Celtic win effectively ends the title race.
-
I can't see the 39 game season happening as there is no possible way to do it without someone getting some sort of advantage. Teams playing a fixture over there voluntarily, however? I can totally see that.
-
Dujon Sterling. I realise this won't be an attractive or popular suggestion but he has been very good for Rangers this year, not only at RB but probably more so at CM so the RB/CM role that we play would be absolutely ideal for him. He's also offered cover at RW and LB this season. Still only 24 and would be relatively cheap. Not a glamorous option but more a case of the perfect tool for the job.

Did you not get round to Morton? You should keep your eye out for them announcing a pre-season game against St.Mirren. I suspect they will and that's the one you would want to get to.
