  1. So... I'm 38 games in. Lost 1, drew 10 and won the rest. Only conceeded 12 goals all season in the league. Have a 13 point gap at the top. Out the Carabao early and I'm in the semis of the FA but have Man City so will exit that. I tried to replicate Enzoball and it worked up until Dec then I started drawing a fair few so altered player roles and system to be more attacking whilst keeping the same shape. Seems to have done the trick. I got rid of a few players early on. Smithies, Praet, Souttar, Albrighton, Iverson and sold Vestergaard, Daka, Ward, in January. I recalled VK and Thomas early on, and Nelson (who I sent on loan) and Soumare in Jan. Not signed anyone other than making Yunus and Fatawu (who compete for RW with Mcateer being converted to LW) permanent.
  2. You can negotiate it. You could prob get him for about £10m if you put the sell on % up pretty high.
  3. I was under the impression that it WILL come out normally, just after the Netflix exclusive release.
  4. ...and yes. Caballero retired a couple of days in to the season
  5. Accept bids for the players when they come in but when it asks you to confirm, hit no. Seems to stop the players kicking off.
  6. ....and another one.
  7. ....and two more the next day! WTF??!!
  8. I had FOUR players from my development team suffer fractured jaws in training on the same day and I had to check that Dennis Wise wasn't in my coaching team.
  9. I purposely didn't sign anyone. Made a few sales and brought VK and Thomas back into the fold. Approaching Xmas and I've drawn 5, won the rest. Considering bring Soumare back in Jan as he looks great and I'll need to get a left winger in because Mcateer just isn't learning that side.
  10. I've played the mobile version for the last few years. Suits my lifestyle better as I can't always dedicate the time to PC version and I think it plays better being less detailed.
  11. Try the mobile version. Not as detailed so you can fire through quicker. Can play it anytime you have a spare 10/15 minutes no matter where you are and if you have Netflix, it's free...
  12. The mobile version was meant to drop at 5pm but its not available apparently...
  13. Claymores please! First American football team I ever supported.
  14. Eagerly awaiting the mobile version launch today too.
  15. It is what it is. They were the better team but we still could have ended up with a point in the end.
  16. Not feeling too confident. We give up chances, it's just this far, our opponents have missed that bit of quality to make them count. Leeds have that. We will get our chances too though so I'm going for a score draw. I would add however that even if we did lose, it's not that deep and we should think about it objectively and not over-react.
  17. My bad. Like i said, i was working whilst watching it. You've exposed my inability to multi task!
  18. I was working that night so really just had it on in the background but as far as I recall, the fullbacks stayed wide. Ricardo didn't come into CM and JJ stayed wide as a four. Although they did switch sides (a couple of times IIRC). I could be wrong though but that's how I saw it at a glance.
  19. I don't think we will play the inverted FB's tonight. Similar to the Sunderland game, I think they will play as traditional FB's to combat the danger Leeds pose out wide. If that game is anything to go by, we really struggled to play our possession game because we didn't have that extra man central in midfield so offensively I think out wingers will need to be on it tonight as well.
  20. C'mon mate! It wasn't enough to make Fatawu fall back! Fatawu baited him and went down. I agree it was a red. I agree that it wasn't violent and I think Fatawu played it very cleverly and showed a bit of edge to his game that I like but let's call it like it is.... If he wanted to stay on his feet he would have put a foot out to stop him falling. He kept them together because he wanted to go down.
  21. Waste of time isn't it?!
  22. I've been enjoying watching opposition TV based streams this year because its always the same. 70 minutes of "we are defending brilliantly" "Leicester aren't creating much" "we are still in it" then the penny drops and they realise that their team is dead on its feet and we've just stepped out of 1st gear. What's crazy though is that there are still Leicester fans that can't see this even after watching us week in/week out and the match reread is a testament to that. We are not going to win games in the first 20 minutes. We are going to win games in the last 20 minutes when the opposition are too tired to stop us. The half time score means nothing when the other team have had to run themselves into the ground to keep it tight. That's how we've been winning games all season and I suspect it's how we will continue to win games, pundits for other teams can at least claim ignorance but the bed-wetting element of our fan base who panic every single week with half an hour to go don't have an excuse.
  23. I'm starting to get used to the way we play now. 75th minute, 1-1 and I wasn't in the least bit worried.
  24. We have like 3 players on 5 and 1 or 2 on 4... That's far more valuable to have than relying on 1 player.
