I agree apart from Vards - he would still score goals but should not be our first choice as we need his experience but hamza, Wout, Daka were bang average last season but the standard was dreadful so made them look better than they are …..the core team still has too many who took us down and they were poor squad members let alone starters…….based upon the signings we have made we may need a complete rebuild in the Championship…..sadly

Rubbish - the gap between the championship and prem is massive - we have gone backwards due to poor recruitment, selling our most attacking link between midfield and attack, appointing a completely average manager with a different approach. Preseason has been a shambles due to lack of fixtures not helped by Enzo ……Cooper won’t keep us up but no one would with this squad …….

He’s still got it and he could be the difference to keep us up - this would be a quality signing

Both not good enough so it’s good business if we can move them on and get a decent LB in…..

He maybe ageing BUT if he can stay fit he will play more games this season as he the schedule is less demanding and ironically we will play to his strengths more plus we will hit teams on the break and whilst he has lost a yard in pace he is an exceptional finisher and will undoubtedly be motivated - he had comeback to preseason before the injury and looked razor sharp from what I have been told !! We will see but I would not write off the LCFC 🐐

No chance he can control a ball for a start and finish - he is miles better than Daka and is hungry he will surprise a few imo if he gets his chance - £10-£15m is his value and I will be surprised if someone does not give him that chance

I do not believe this ! It would be some signing if true - could go a long way to keeping us up IF he still has it (a year out would be a worry) - keepers are worth 10-15 points and he would hopefully be the difference. Presumably would mean we are cashing in on Mads.

Brighton may currently be being well ran but they will never achieve anything like we have and Man United would swap places with us over the past 10 years so the sense of entitlement on here defies logic..................so many fans do not realise how lucky we are and have been - we have fabulous owners who have massive credit in the bank even after a low point of backing the idiot BR who got us relegated we bounced back first time by retaining a talented squad at the championship level and also our owners are still as ambitious as ever but the constraints of the rules and granted some indecision in 22/23 has led to us having to rebuild. We are trying to rebuild in the prem within the rules having had a treacherous little Oik leave us for the first sign of money.........I agree with you 100% BHA or any other club except City and Liverpool would trade places with us!!

How do you know we are not or were not - maybe he does not fancy us - maybe Florence is a slightly more attractive option 😳 It is possible that we will not sign everyone linked with us and actually maybe we need to trust the process - our record generally since Glover arrived has been pretty good !

It maybe a net £40m to meet FFP and the board are trying to keep us in Iine as more likely to have mitigation for the current FFP charge due to relegation, COVID etc but anything from now on is indefensible. i do think the recruitment process must be really difficult adhering to the current regs knowing what we have hanging over us - it’s not lack of appetite to invest as Top would spend more if he could plus I do wonder if they know more about the impending penalty for FFP and the state if Vardy ! Assuming lots but I personally am glad they are not diving in without thought but whether they can get us a competitive team I am not sure but it’s definitely not a lack of trying and many clubs have yet to spend much - it’s not an easy market !

You really need to be careful what you wish for - our club is 140 years old and this is the best period in that whole history under this ownership - whilst I completely agree some decisions by Top seem baffling he is determined to re-establish us and they have the pockets to fund us but we do need to see the leadership in the coming season …….luckily most reasonable fans believe in this ownership even if it is frustrating at times …..
