Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Osavo replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Laughable again. First actions following being subbed on were to fall over and then commit a needless foul. And that was probably the most positive thing he contributed. Just dump him in the Soar, doubt he'd float anyway. -
Personally, I think he'd be more successful if playing in football boots instead of rollerblades.
-
No chance we need that many. 54 is the maximum a team has ever been relegated with and 50 is almost always enough. Appreciate that Sheff Weds being so bad may add slightly to this, but not to that level. 4 wins, 4 draws would probably squeeze us home. Possibly 5 wins, 3 draws. But no chance we'll need 7.

Don't really understand people praising him for a good performance 'barring one mistake'. He is a centre back, every big error he makes lands us bang in trouble, and he seems to make at least one clanger every week. He is costing us points and, regardless of how solid he might look at any given point in a game, his job is to maintain concentration and keep the ball out of the net for the full 90. He seems incapable of that and, to me, looks like Wout Faes version 2.

Doesn't matter what he is (or what he thinks he is - clearly he thinks he's a centre forward). He shouldn't be anywhere near the pitch. We are in a dogfight and need 11 players giving everything, not passengers, which this lump will be whichever position he plays. -

It's not just this - I genuinely believe he is detrimental to the team when on the pitch. He slows up every attack by taking too many touches and never looks to pick out a teammate in return. On top of that, appears to demand to take every set piece (glad Winks pulled rank on that tonight). We'd genuinely be better off playing with 10, at least then there wouldn't be a temptation to pass to him. His lazy attitude must really grate on others too, especially when they have put a shift in like tonight. -
Better. Well organised and look willing to actually work hard for each other. Rowett appears to have instilled some fight that was sorely lacking. Hopefully has let rip with some home truths too. Mukasa faded but looked excellent again - he's definitely a piece we've been missing in linking play in the final third. Skipp and Winks especially were great - if we can get that version of Harry Winks until the end of the season (and he doesn't sulk off again) we'll be in a much better place and can hopefully part ways on semi-decent terms. Feeling ever so slightly more confident. But we have to beat Norwich.

Never want to see this lazy, arrogant twat in a City shirt again. Seriously, subbed on tonight with what should be fresh legs and barely broke into a jog. Proceeds to shoot at every opportunity whilst there are teammates better placed. Just **** off. -
Utter madness. Just let it be for goodness sake. Fairly sure both sides would have preferred the original outcome too. By the letter of the law it's correct but can we please just apply some common sense.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

Christ Surely they realise this is alienating what small supporter base they have left? Surely? -
We haven't had a good off spinner since Swann and he genuinely looks the best prospect since then. He rips it and puts batsmen under pressure (far more than Leach, Bashir, Jacks, etc). I'd love to see him given a crack at the whip in the summer.

Cheltenham Town Away FA Cup 3rd Round Pre-Match Thread 10th Jan

Part of me gets this, but part of me says the only hope we have of enjoyment out of this season is a little cup run. -
Bump. Thoughts on the West Brom game, lads?

Stan, do you think they should be rested because we need them for a relegation dogfight? Genuine question I am not being facetious. -
Rather City, and think it will be. Arsenal always find a way to throw it. No pain if City win it too, they've done so so many times that it's irrelevant. Anyone but Villa. Cannot be arsed with the comparisons to our title winners when they have spent hundreds of millions of pounds. They've done well, but it ain't the same.
-
That's absolutely terrible though. I know your point and you're obviously making it, but why is Derbyshire's spinner England's first choice? There's not some bad options in the County game. Personally, I'd like to see the Ahmed brothers (both of them) given a go. I think Rehan is a batsman long term, with handy leg spin up his sleeve, but Farhan looks an absolutely fantastic off-spinner. Puts it in the right areas and gives it a rip, he's outrageous for his age.
-
He's no worse a spinner, for sure. Still astonishes me they have persisted with Bashir for two years with this series in mind, only to not play him once. Wouldn't surprise me if the lad never plays another first-class match.
-
I don't understand that effort from Will Jacks at all. Has shown stickability in his other knocks, then comes out second ball and does that? All it needed was someone to stay with Bethell, who looked unbeatable. Ridiculous. In isolation, not a bad day's batting, but don't think we have anywhere near enough.
-
Fabulous innings, virtually chanceless. Well played, young man.
-
If only Harry Brook could learn to use his exceptional talent this productively on a regular basis. Fabulous player and great to watch him be a little more reserved and not fall into the traps set.
-
I genuinely don't think we can. The club appears completely rotten and, although not doing a brilliant job, Cifuentes has been dealt a bad hand. Even if we sack this manager, which I think should happen btw, do you trust the board to hire a competent replacement capable of rallying the dressing room and closing the gap?

Jobs for the boys as usual.
-
Jesus, was he? An FC role is many, many miles apart from an FD role. Outrageous they think it's a transferable skill set.
-
Well if he can't even keep up with Companies House filing deadlines I worry about his ability to run the finances of the football club.
