we might be slightly more put off by the source...

I’ve not seen enough of Bailey, nor anything of Sarr, but they’re names that get FT posters & the Twitterati excited. Januzaj & Bowen however aren’t going to help us challenge the big 6, even if Bowen has PL potential. I’m still hoping it’s Ziyech ?

The Wan Bissaka fee is gobsmackingly crazy. If there’s any logic to it, Harry’s worth over £100M. He’s not leaving anyway. I trust in Rob Tanner!

Mooted. Muted has, in this case, an almost opposite meaning. You're welcome.

Same old from Dimmy last night. Reminds me of the Shane Warne comment about Monty Panesar. 'He's not played 50 tests, he's played the same test 50 times'.

Just wondering why the Callum McGregor thread was closed?

I'm so, so glad that Foxes Talk posters have zero effect on our transfer dealings! If you were Top, Susan Whelan, Jon Rudkin or Brendan Rodgers, you'd smile at an offer of £65m and carry on with whatever you were doing before...

I’m past caring. Someone’s available now you say? Geriminnn!
-
We buy quality of course. We keep the quality we have. Tick both boxes and we have every chance of finishing above Utd this season. In fact our best chance in years.
-
No! I won’t have it! This is the year (well, the second year in recent times) that we finish above Yannited. And we do it by keeping our best players.

I’ve read enough. Gerrrimminn!

Defeatist!

This isn't a sentence I thought I'd ever utter, but thank god we've got Rudkin Ric!

He still can’t spell.

Not still on page 100 is it?

All about opinions isn’t it? Not many would disagree that Mahrez was world class throughout 15-16 though. And there was plenty of evidence of Cambiasso’s class in his short time here. Enough for me to have him in my all time XI, until a year later! Don’t know if you read Jonathan Northcroft’s book on the title winners? He said we had four world class performers that season: Kante, Mahrez, Schmeichel (surprised me) & Vardy, who he described as world class at what he did, as distinct from calling him a world class player.
-
What a short memory you have! Mahrez for the whole of 15-16 Cambiasso, though fading, his class was crystal clear, to name two without trying

I suspect that the two purchases had as much to do with Morgan's waning powers as uncertainty over Maguire. The plan might have been to start this season with Soyoncu and Benkovic as numbers 3 and 4 behind Evans and Maguire, a plan that doesn't look so clever now that Wes has another year. There is too another logical explanation for getting both of them: economics. They might (again!) have been seen as buys that could only go up in value compared to the purchase price, and it might (sorry!) have been the case that the plan was to keep the better of the two and sell the other at a profit. I have no idea whether Cags and Benko are good enough and reliable enough now to be numbers 2 and 3 (with and behind Evans, ahead of Wes) at CB. If not, and IF Harry leaves, we need to buy a CB good enough to be either our second or third choice in that position. I rate Dunk but don't know his play well enough to know if he's that good. As I didn't know how good Harry was until he'd payed for us! Personally I hope Harry (and everyone else important) stays and we still spend £80M+ this summer: it's Europe or bust this season!

Solid £5m addition to the asking price from Harry today. Mind you, I took £5m off after the Holland game. As you were...

Easily one of England’s best tonight...

£74m is your final offer? Ok you’ve got a deal...

VAR replays to be shown on screens at Premier League matches
Steve Earle replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Does that mean we’ll finally get Wi-fi at the KP? -
Thought Rob Tanner had ruled this out? If not, then choosing between him & Ghezzal might detain me for about 2 secs...
