  1. The media and many on this forum were getting giddy ahead of the Yannited match, and then we produced our worst performance of the season. I loved the game on Saturday, but if Aurier's goal had stood we'd have lost, would now be in mid-table, would have failed to beat three average 'big 6' teams, etc etc. Early days. But lets leave the talk of top 4 out, and leave talk of top 6 until Christmas Also wanted to give huge kudos to BR. While it was probably the VAR decision that sparked the comeback, his change to a diamond at the same time was pivotal. Our three were being outmuscled and overrun by Spurs' three (Maddison and Tielemans were quite poor defensively) but from then on our four bossed their three completely. Still looks a major mistake not to have signed a game-changing, goal-scoring winger in the summer.
  2. We can rotate and put out a side strong enough to play any championship team. Evans Madders and Vardy should be rested, others might be. I expect to see something like this: Ward Justin Morgan Soyuncu Fuchs Chouhury Albrighton Tielemans Praet Gray Perez Bench to include Pereira, Mendy, Iheancho, Barnes, Vardy
  3. 60fps.live seems a great stream...
  4. Ayothay actually. Sorry.
  5. 0-0 We have the possession but can't create anything with it. God I hope I'm wrong.
  6. Didn’t see Nacho not playing coming! Win it early, then make changes ((JJ, Praet).
  7. Knew by Christmas that he had no chance of ever making it in the Premier League - not physical enough, quick enough or ambitious enough. Don't think I ever saw him beat a man. I'm afraid he'll be right up there when the list of 'worst-value-for-the-price paid' Leicester footballers are produced... Take the hit. learn, move on.
  8. As one of the few that saw the league cup win over Fleetwood, I have to disagree with you! But his two best moments being in games against Fleetwood & Newport kind of says it all.
  9. But still terrible! At least recently. Many seem to have forgotten his outstanding contribution as right wing back (Schlupp on the left) in the 3412 formation for the Greatest Escape.
  10. Its a contingency, not something I or the manager would aim to implement. JJ has been on the bench, and covering both full back positions, in every game so far!
  11. Because they'll both be needed to play on Saturday, when Chilwell should be fit, meaning Fuchs won't. And in the unlikely event of Fuchs struggling to complete the match on Wednesday, Ricardo would be available from the bench to play right back, with JJ switching to the left...
  12. My take on this - Evans & Vardy are the only two we NEED to rest, but there are some who need game time for sharpness, such as Praet & Tielemans. I also think Nacho kind of has to start if he's going to be our sub striker this year. So I'd like to see: Ward JJ Morgan Soyuncu Fuchs Tielemans Chouhury Praet Perez Iheanacho Barnes Subs Schmeichel Ricardo Benkovic Mendy Gray Albrighton Vardy
  13. Pascanu on brink of permanent transfer to Romanian club apparently - surely he’s one to keep?
  14. How can I help?
  15. #I'm Spartacus. And so is my wife.
  16. Not a single question in the fan survey allowed us to register unhappiness with the lack of wifi at the KP, or even 4G!
  17. Would like to see better distribution from our Swede. Haven't seen Iverson but a mate who's an Oldham fan says his distribution is excellent, at least at that level. It's one of Kasper's weaknesses and it's to be hoped that one of the prospects can in time improve on him in that area...
  18. Scrappy, bitty game, badly reffed. Good point in the end. I thought our left back, Ughelumba, was excellent - a far batter prospect than Elder ever was. Would have liked Dewsbury-Hall to go on loan to the Championship this season but if he goes anywhere it'll be to a league one club (or abroad).
  19. The real @LinekersApples and a pitchfork wielding mob!
  20. Wilf was excellent, but so were Ricardo, Evans & Soyuncu. Based on that performance we've improved defensively in terms of extra pace and aggression, but lost a bit of aerial dominance. Be delighted if Cags can keep up that level.
  21. Well no, I don’t think any congrats are in order. And if there’s a Silva-like cock up to come, quite the opposite.
  22. I wonder which winger or wingers we tried to sign
  23. But, but...
  24. Precisely so. And a 14 point gap between where we finished and Yanited was always going to take some closing. Unless there’s a staggering surprise in the next 3 hours, it looks more realistic to be aiming to get 8-10 more points than we got last season. That’d be really good! But it’s not a challenge for a top 6 spot. The real disappointment is that Arsenal & Yanited, two clubs we had hoped of catching, look to have strengthened considerably. I’m not sure we have.
  25. Might Rennes fancy Ghezzal and/or Diabate in part ex for Sarr? Or Palace fancy Gray & Slimani in part ex for Zaha? Are we we even trying to get deals done?!?
