If Thomas is our best left back then we need a better one.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Certainly looks that way. So, with £80m + coming in, might we actually see the three signings we need? -
Random post I know but couldn’t see a more appropriate thread. Edouard has achieved something more than he did with us for half a season, and that’s claiming a place on the bench in the Premier League today v Chelsea. Was it him or was it us?

Taylor-Fletcher any relation? -
Crikey, has Michael Golding been going to the same guy that measures Kasey McAteer’s height?

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

You’d like to think so, but truth is we don’t know. Nor do we know if there are any plans to buy at all. -
Could we get actually get relegated again this season?

You see, the beauty of it is, it’s still in our hands… -

Notoriously difficult to employ in the written word…

That’s sarcasm, right?

FWIW, my team: Begovic Hamza (C) Nelson Okoli Aluko Winks Page Monga Bilal Mavididi Daka Subs: Basour, Coulibaly, Faes, Skipp, Soumare, McAteer, Fatawu, Ayew, Alves Not remotely bothered about cup-tieing any potential loan outs or risking an injury to a likely departee.

Anything north of £5m would be excellent business for us. What’s going on at Rudkin Towers? Weren’t the weeks from April 20 onwards completely wasted? -
Some posters on here, maybe relatively new to, for example, shaving, might think Wout the worst or one of the worst defenders we’ve ever had. They’re wrong. He’s not in the top 20 worst defenders we’ve had in my time watching Leicester. But he is in the top ten most dislikable defenders we’ve ever had, I’ll grant you that. Possibly top 3?

Wasn’t sure where to post this, or even if it’s true (it was on X after all):

The record top flight away win. Football didn’t begin in 1992! -
Big word for only two letters though…

At £18m with hopefully some achievable add-ons I don’t think we’ve been shafted. While we view the world through blue tinted glasses, £30m was never realistic. £20-25m (the latter, tops) was always going to be as good as we could get, unless Man U wanted him.

*pedant alert* ‘fewer games’. It’s a countable noun….

Steady!

Depends on the day & the mood! I have Mahrez (of course) & the great Keith Weller in the Albrighton role. Which leaves me with either Maddison or McAllister as the 10…behind Vardy, obviously 🙄
-
Interesting…I’m not sure Muzzy had the guile for the 10 role (thinking all those no-look Youri passes to play in Barnes, Madders or Vardy - and I don’t really see Youri as a 10 either)? I see him as an 8 myself, and for me it’s a straight choice between him & Youri to play alongside Kante in an all time 4231 XI. Possibly both would be better as 8s in a 3-box-3?
