Exactly this he has probably been learning whos who for the last 3 or 4 weeks and studying what he can do with every player in his style etc im sure he probaly knows who is staying and who is likely to go at this point aswell and will be building his games around them.

Really we should only be looking at nailed on starters in the 11 and not anyone for the bench as the squad depth for championship is ridiculous when you think of the likes of skipp, mcateer, ayew etc are not nailed starters but they should be great in championship in theory.

Curious..For this years best 11 and signings from a PSR perspective if we kept the spend to a minimum and loaned in the important players like a starting striker and centre mid that are levels above what we have already does that mean “if” we get promoted would we have a huge premier league budget as we can spend 2 seasons worth of money? Or does it not work like that and we are better off spreading it over 2 seasons?

Yeah agree but beyond ability i think they are just bad egg mentalities and just cant be arsed to play for this club in the championship.

The squad is still extremely strong for the championship when you get rid of the dead wood like bouba, faes etc. we still need fresh blood and at a minimum we need new quality starting CM,ST and you could argue everywhere else we have depth especially with the return of Fatawu and some younger lads. Id be open to a new defender aswell.

Out of curiosity who are we overrating (from a championship perspective that is) page - never seen him. Mavididi is a winger so scrap the striker thought. Okoli? Maybe could be good at championship. thomas - maybe but best of a bad bunch at left back and think he will be good in championship. so 3 new starters as it stands and we could be cooking.
