Our support will always be hit and miss and it's not always to do with how good the football is. Burton in pre season was genuinely better than Atletico Madrid away, it's just how we are.

Is that because we only have 3 good players?

Fully aware of what league we're in and taking that into account, I'm fully aware it's more of Skipp's level. Forget the fee, he is an ordinary footballer who does very little to impact games. Just a bit of a nothing player who is happy to "make things tick" or to me, often shy away from responsibilities. He doesn't drive with the ball, he's not a great tackler, doesn't really get involved in attacks, rarely looks like scoring. I just don't rate him that's all, so when someone goes the opposite and says we're "lucky to have him", it just felt too much.

That's a stretch. He might not be as bad as when he first started, but he's still a very limited footballer with few major strengths to his game.

And that's from a club that's not exactly well managed.

Not a fan of Everton dropping their traditional colours today because they want to make some extra money on a pointless new kit.

Love to see it! Macclesfield completely deserved it. Rooney getting emotional for his kid bro is beautiful to see. He might like to pay for women twice his age, but he's a proper footballing man.

I love the romance of the FA Cup and drama that comes with it as much as the next guy, but Guy Mowbray on the Palace game, saying the Macclesfield owner looked close to tears because he was merely smiling at their opener, was certainly a stretch too far in hyping it up.

Guinness is just ridiculously popular so it's always going to attract more annoying types that have made it their whole personality. That doesn't take away the fact that it definitely does taste better in certain places though.

Last time we were in the Championship we gave Chelsea a half decent game in the Quarters, this time I wouldn't be surprised if Cheltenham dump us out.

What I find crazy is, we'll have fans that understand why their fans are so pissed off, but when it comes to their own clubs issues will just shrug it off and not see it as a problem. Like how? That's despite our drop off being significantly worse and it being their own ****ing club that they supposedly care about.

As much as I dislike Rudkin, this was actually a good signing and worth the risk imo. The fact we have so little wriggle room for comings and goings in the first place is the problem. There will always be some signings that don't work out, no matter how well the club is being run. It's a concern that he only lasted 5 minutes after returning though.

Not saying it's needed. But it was more than the expansion, it was the development of the area too etc. It should still be communicated, even if it is stating the obvious imo.

They should communicate it though. They don't need to say it's never happening, but they could say it's on hold.

Thought as much, just wasn't sure if I'd just not seen it.

He does seem to have really slowed down. There was one moment where he tracked back and had to slide to concede a corner and it was like he was running through mud. Previously, I'd have expected him to keep that in and play out.
