Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread
Stuntman_Mike replied to Happy Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
Been loads of trouble between them pair lately. Would be a lively couple of games. -
The latest one of people genuinely lining up for Faes autograph and beaming smiles with RVN has made me feel sick
-
Is that the case? I know many of our fans are special, but surely the reference is just them winning that night sealed it for us, not that they made it possible for us.

It should be like last game of the season in Sunday league where we put Danny Ward up top and Ricardo in goal. -
Look how good Wilf was against West Ham before Ruud started properly working with him.
-
Might be a stretch at the moment, but it's not far off and only likely to get worse.
-
It's interesting because it's quite clear in England we have some of the best fans in the world for loyalty, passion and numbers travelling. Like we're unbelievably invested in our teams right through the leagues, it's just the noise that isn't there. The PL is more like the MLS these days. In fact, it's probably worse.

I'd forgot I enjoyed football. Great game

This will be the 10th game I've missed in a row, purely through giving up. I had a buzz for Rotherham away in the paint trophy. -
He's still a fairly high profile name and he'd be a free transfer. He'd be worth having as a squad player if he's willing to drop his wages a bit. I'd be going abroad if I was him and not just because I don't want to see him play for another English club.
-
Sky Sports saying he wants to stay in the PL or a top European league. No plans to drop to the Championship.

Did the Coventry half in 2:07 yesterday. Really happy with that seeing as I hadn't trained, it was really hot and lots more hills than anticipated! Coventry not the dump I expected it to be. I haven't been in the city itself for 20 years. Might have been the sun shining and the countryside route though.. -

I didn't quite reach my target, but tried my hardest. It's not like they were going to take the place back off me once I'd signed up... I can't quite remember at what point they asked me to transfer what I'd raised but it was never a problem for me. -

I recommend trying through charity places directly. I got a place in 2015 from an article in the Mercury. They asked me like two questions and I was in! -
Rudders and Top 100% have matching pyjama nights and watch dancing on ice together.

I wish Ruud would get shot
-
That makes a lot of sense! I'd imagine they could pay him a good wage too.
-
Happy for Vardy to get it. He's been well below his previous standards but still our top goal scorer.

Even those fans that hate him secretly love him deep down or wish they had him at their club. He's going to be missed, it really does feel like the end of an era. The only downside is the drama his wife is to blame for. -
All I know is, just don't give them the number 9 until they've settled.
-
Some of his celebrations are iconic and loved by opposition fans as much as us! That eagle at Palace was incredible.
-
It's mental that he still can't be relied upon in the Championship.
-
Ghost were incredible! They really know how to put on a show. I enjoyed it being a phone free event too
