When we replace him with someone who has zero personality or goal threat, you might regret feeling this way. You should be milking every second of it

They wouldn't even let us in the spoons for a pre season game
-
Agreed it's not the most appealing away day.
-
We're really not blessed with options. I never realised there was that many close to Goodison/Anfield.
-
Why? It's a piss take with the dates being changed, but it's not like it's a con like the Man Utd cup game.
-
Surprised how well these have sold tbf. Especially as the date is still uncertain.

Booked for catching the ball? I mean it's a tricky one because technically it is a yellow.. the game is decided on such fine margins you can't have people in other games just deciding when they want to go off like that and breaking up play. Similar to those players that have 'head injuries' when they've been caught somewhere else. Likewise, someone takes their shirt off in celebration and it's a nice message, not political or gambling etc it's better to just be consistent and give the card when everyone knows the rules. Maybe I'm being harsh.

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
Stuntman_Mike replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
I did the Vicky park parkrun on Saturday in 25.48 which I was very happy with as a first run this year! It's a brilliant set up as all of them are but it does feel a bit more of a drag doing 3 laps compared to say, Abbey Park or Braunstone. -
Spurs 1 - 2 LCFC (A) Full Time Thread

Brilliant result and something we needed to pull out of nowhere. Helped by Spurs being terrible of course so I'm not getting too carried. We still need to strengthen and sort out recruitment out -
I'd genuinely have been disappointed with that team line up last season.
-
Sorry, I thought that was a direct quote from the statement released today
-
Yeah I turned off during the first call.
-
Surely that last line is some kind of toxic/manipulative behaviour? That reads to me that they're actually using the disaster to get people to fall back in line and stop questioning their decisions

I don't want this board to have more money to spend

Tom Cannon to Sheff Utd - Official

He's been pretty ordinary hasn't he? I know he scored 4 in one game and a fair few pens but other than that he's never stood out every time I've seen him. I appreciate Stoke have been struggling as a whole so we'll see how this move works out to a more positive side, but it's not terrible business if we're looking at this transfer alone, as it is. -

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I'd imagine a fair few 'mutual consents' are clubs saving face when a manager has had enough. In this instance, if Ruud did walk he'd have the perfect reason for it and if the club came out stating it was mutual or they'd sacked him instead they don't look good either way. They've either hired the wrong person and sacked him after a handful of games, or they've quite clearly used the mutual line when we all know the truth about his frustrations with what and who he's working with. -

No one decent, but we're a sinking ship as it is. If someone has nothing to lose from it and all to gain, it would be a brilliant opportunity for somebody to build their reputation or look for a big bonus if we somehow survived. -

I feel Ruud walking is win win for everyone at this stage. We'd have a new manager who might provide a miracle with what we have. It shows the board up further for their incompetence which helps the cause for longer term change and selfishly for him, it protects his reputation. -
Gutted I'm working the Arsenal game so can't make the protest, but I have changed my profile picture so Rudkin is as good as sacked.

The future of priority schemes invite
Stuntman_Mike replied to JayTheFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I really don't see the point of doing this now, it should've been updated years ago. It's not likely we'll need it over the next few years anyway if things carry on as they are. I can't see the novelty of the Championship being the same next season.
