Remember Everton normally go 2-0 up and then lose 3-2. There’s still time

Not on your list but teggies is a Leicester word. My Wife is from Lincoln and never heard of it.

More Kids bought up in broken homes Irresponsible parenting Internet and social media Less Faith in God More crime Mis-labelling of normal emotions These are undoubtedly some contributing factors.

And those that post inflammatory comments in X about israel will surely be imprisoned for 3 years for “inciting” this? Not sure if that would fit Supreme Leader Keir’s agenda though.

Also when dealing with this kind of thing it is important to consider a proportionate response. Why? Because we are in the realms of dangerous precedent setting. Look at Ricky Jones - high degree of influence, said to a big crowd, direct call for violence. Compare that with someone with 200 followers on X. You could argue that because the latter case gets 30 months, Ricky should get 5 years plus! But does anyone serious believe Ricky actually wants to cut everyones throat? Does he deserve 5 years plus for what he saiid?

I disagree that the consequences originate from an inflammatory post. That presents a number of problems that have seemingly been disregarded by the courts.

I can’t believe people are going to jail for comments on facebook and people are okay with it. I have seen people spout worse stuff than What some have got sent down for on here.

Yeah got a nice fork on the King and rook - before I spotted the checkmate combo with queen and bishop. They played really aggressively with their queen and I made a few mistakes early on so was a satisfying end.

I think it is ridiculous that people are actually being arrested for saying offensive things online. (Not talking about incitement here, thats a different thing) The first problem with arresting someone for using words, is that someone has to decide what words are okay and which ones aren’t and I don’t see a viable objective way of doing that. The second problem is that criminal justice is costly and to achieve this you need to deprioritise other criminal justice pursuits due to having budget restraints. Deeply concerned with how our tax money is being spent here. Maybe lots if people agree so it isn’t unpopular

Cheers. Im with Keir on this one as well. It is right wing thuggery for the most part. I’d open the borders to the extent that some left wing people would start protesting about immigration. I am a Christian and am betting my life that I will be spending eternity in the biggest globalist community ever, with every tribe, nation and tongue worshiping in one accord. My only commentary on this whole event is that people hate being called idiots and racists ( not commenting in whether they are or are not) and they hate feeling like their opinions do not matter. So everything I am seeing from the left is, in my opinion fanning the flame a lot more.
-
Getting banned posting in a thread because you make one comment saying the left are more provocative than they think is the height of biased pettiness.
-
Whilst I don’t support the actions at all, I think the left wing fans the flames of these thugs much more than Farage, Robinson et all.
-
Everywhere online is just leftists calling out racism and islamaphobia and right wing folks calling out police and media for false reporting. On the scene is harrowing footage of violent protesting. Seemingly hardly anywhere is compassion, prayer and support for what actually happened. Come quickly Lord and be with these families who are grieving.

As a parent these kind of things shock me to the core. Can’t imagine what the families are going through.

Should Online Influencers be Restricted Or Monitored?
Benguin replied to Parafox's topic in General Chat
No but parents should restrict what their children do online. -
Yeah it’s a shame, although I do share some of the concerns they had leading up to cancelling. It was dangerously busy when we went 2022.

It was 46 for me and a beamer so probably the same guy!

Definitely not a dig at the products themselves - they look great. Just a comment that I think most people tend not to buy these kind of things online from randomers without a decent looking website/marketing. On the contrary, if I were at Lincoln Xmas market this would definitely be something I bought as a gift.
-
Tailgaters when queueing in the overtaking lane but half a mile ahead a lorry is overtaking. Drives me crazy - are you blind or just selfish, I exercised a complete lack of grace and continued to drive at 55 once the lorry had overtaken and took a whole minute longer to overtake the line of lorries . The guy then drew level wound his window down and uttered a few choice words.

If i was ever going to buy something like this it would be at a market, Would never buy online unless it was to support a friend / family member. You therefore need a brand and good marketing if you want to sell to people online.

A lot of companies, not all, use software to read CV’s for certain buzzwords to sift through and shortlist. You’re not getting selected for interview probably due to your CV missing necessary buzzwords. I wouldn’t personally go down the professional cv writing route as I think you need to tailor your CV to the company you’re applying for. I paste a job description into chatgpt and ask it to identify 5 key buzzwords to incorporate in my CV. When I was job hunting I definitely got a lot more interview invites doing this than when I did the previous time.

Not sure exactly why you think I am trolling. I’ve spoken my mind.
