SPLITTERS! I'm for the Supporters club of Leicester City

Was in the away end for the Everton v Roma game. A mix of die hard Roma fans, Italian ex pats & a few groundhoppers made a convivial & sometimes noisy atmosphere in an otherwise soulless 51,000 crowd.

Hamburg v St Pauli next Friday if you're still there. Getting hold of tickets may be a problem though.

For any Pompey fans reading this the 22.20 train from Leicester wil via an overnight change in London get you safely back in Portsmouth in time for Sunday dinner.

My earliest memory of the 2015-16 season is leaving Field Mill after a 1-1 pre season draw with Mansfield thinking we haven't got a hope in hell of staying up this season after watching that shower of shite.

One of the above's Dad (mis spelt) used to play for us. Perhaps he could be recalled ( for either side)

Forest Geen are planning a new timber "environmentally friendly" stadium. This will be very handily situated next to jct. 13 of the M5 with a 1,700 space car park. This will be most suitable for all petrolheads.

Bit of a change for Savage, not sure which one of the below he fits into. Macclesfield - Proper old school club with old fashioned values & mental fans Forest Green - The new breed of lower/non league football with Green values & well behaved, nice, fans

The problem with Glastonbury is not so much the music, there are & always have been acts that either appeal or don't appeal to individual tastes. What started out as a hippy gathering & evolved into a decent festival, peaking about 3 decades ago has now turned into the sort of festival for the "Got to get a ticket for this must do experience" generation. The Premier league or the World clubs cup of the music world

Match-By-Match Pricing Confirmed For 2025/26 Season
boots60 replied to davieG's topic in Ticket News and Travel
The club have realised that 32,000 will not be turning up every match & acted accordingly. Prices should have been reduced further. If we don't get off to the best of starts & end up bobbing around mid table, or worse, expect lots of empty seats. -
Cask ale in London is usually flat as a witches tit, which is why they don't sell much. A decent cask ale should have some body & leave froth lines at the side of the glass when drunk, that is unlikely in London. Sparklers rarely used south of the Watford Gap.

Back before logging on at 9.00am to buy tickets for a gig only to find that at 2.00pm it's crashed, you could walk into Ainley's, give some paper money to the assistant & walk out with tickets for a major gig. Progress is a wonderful thing.
