I've given up alcohol, indefinitely. Not putting any timescale on it, just doing it for my own good at the minute, but don't intend to go completely tea total. Just bought 4 bottles of Stella 0% to have while the match is on tonight. £3 from Tesco and they actually taste as good as the real thing.

I wouldn't touch one, personally. Your insurance premium could be higher and your car is pretty much worthless if you're involved in an accident, so the insurance company will hardly pay out anything. If you're seriously looking at buying one, only pay what you can afford to lose in cash. Basically if you pay 10k for a car and someone else hits it, you've lost everything.

Not pass it to Bui Hoang?

Brilliant final round in the Dubai Invitational. Rory threw it away in the end, impeccable for 16 holes, then turned in to me as he three putted from 2 feet on the 14th and put his drive in the water on 18. Fair play to Fleetwood for holding his nerve, sank some great putts in the final few holes.

Back in sales. Starting a week on Monday.

Told you. Wasn't rocket science though, any idiot could see that, apart from the manager. Absolutely pathetic set up for the second half and got completely what we deserved.
-
We asked for that. Wouldn't be surprised if they get another. Such poor tactics.

Game plan is all wrong here. We need to step up ten yards and actually start playing football. Carry on inviting pressure for the rest of the game and we'll lose.

Had a rough week, mental health wise. Nothing major, just feeling a bit shit. Decided to make some lifestyle changes. Knocked alcohol on the head for the foreseeable (not that I plan on going completely tea total) and going to try and look after myself more. Started by going for a jog this morning and managed to pull a muscle in my arm How does that even happen? Need a beer

And a shameless plug from me... https://www.glynhopkin.com/ Let me know if there's anything on there anyone wants. Largest Nissan franchise in the country, I'll be working in a Nissan branch, but can also sell new MG's and any used car in group stock across the country.

I've sold Stellantis cars, like Citroën. Specifically Fiat, Jeep, Alfa and Peugeot. And I'd take the ride quality and drivability of an Alfa Romeo Stelvio over a Peugeot e2008. I'd imagine the Citroën C4E is built on the same chassis as the Peugeot, if not, its something very similar. And yeah, certainly not an elitist when it comes to cars, I've driven pretty much everything and anything. Ev's will always be quieter, there's no engine, but it's all subjective to your personal taste. ICE cars will never die out, whatever they want to tell you. Latest sales figures are confirming that.

You're easily pleased

Totally depends on what car you're driving. A high end EV will be better than a standard ICE car, but a high end ICE car is far superior to a Renault Zoe. How the vehicle is powered really doesn't make a difference.

I'm self-employed at the moment, although a company gives me all of my jobs. I was offered the job on the spot and the paperwork came through via email on Monday. I spoke to the company that gives me my jobs and told them what had gone on and I've given them notice in writing today now I have my start date. So they've had 12 days official notice. I only needed to give a week.

Really well thanks, Deb. So well, in fact, I start a week on Monday!

Delivered a car to a Nissan main dealer yesterday, bumped in to a guy who works there who I used to work with. We had a good chat and he said "Why don't you come and work here?" Long story short, got an interview tomorrow morning! I'd better trawl through the car thread and delete any comments where I state the Kia Sportage is far superior to the Nissan Qashqai. It isn't, I don't know what I was thinking

We should probably have 500000 people live outside parliament and another 19 million on TV just watching a big Catherine Wheel. Woooo

Mmm sexy

Don't disagree. Look where we are right now having only really lost 4 players. We lost momentum over Covid, we were at our weakest then. I've kind of blanked it from my memory, but was it Watford that Chilwell scored against in the last minute? Then they scored in added on injury time? Craig Dawson? I can't remember. But we hold on to win that game, history is totally different. Yeah, we didn't. Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda.

I have no idea what to do, but I'd like to raise a shitload of money for a local charity that helped my father-in-law.

That's Canada for you. Wait until you get these things called 'CD's' it'll change the way you listen to music. If you can take your mittens off to skip a track
